Have exhaust in race mode

Hey all, recently acquired a 2018 AMG E63S Wagon and I love it. My one question is how can I have the exhaust in race mode but have suspension in Confort? The roads are terrible after winter up here.
When I do the custom exhaust setting it only goes to Sport+ which doesn't sounds as awesome as Race!

Thanks!

You can use the individual settings feature to customize it. Put the engine, transmission, and exhaust in Race mode and suspension in comfort.

Should work, haven't tried it in that configuration myself. I have individual mode set up in all Race mode for everything. That way I just flip the lever up once versus down several times if I happen to be in comfort mode.

When driving in comfort mode, I typically do press the exhaust button to open the exhaust valve, but this only results in a somewhat louder tone, no snap crackle and pop.

The pops and crackles don't usually show up too much until the engine is up to temp, and the displays are "out of the blue."

This is most noticeable when activating the loud start on a warm engine vs cold engine.

What’s the “loud start”? Starting engine with exhaust flaps open or am I missing out on a cool feature I don’t know about?!

I think it’s officially called the Emotion Start...hold down one of the shift paddles while pressing the engine start button and the car will rev a little bit more as it starts.

Wait............Is this different that just hitting the star button once with your foot off the brake, moving the selector to sport+, and then starting the vehicle. Because I love doing that at my local Costco.
