I just received my headlight module activation device from Vladimir but no instructions? I've emailed him for directions but if anyone on here has used his plug in device to recode the headlights can you share how it's done? It's probably plug 'n play but with engine on or just ignition? Do I need to be in any specific area on the menus system first? Etc.

Any suggestions welcomed, it's getting dark and I can't wait to see the difference it makes tonight!

Now that I’ve lived with the Vlad headlight upgrade for a few months I have to say that it’s one of my favorite features on the car. Was a bit pricey but now that I have it I’d do it again without hesitation. Seeing the lights move and block out oncoming or cars ahead of me never fails to amaze me. Why the USofA decided to not allow this feature is beyond me. So much more enjoyable and safe to drive the back roads at night.

I think they meant not worth engaging regarding your post bashing individual residents and small businesses of other countries who may not support the actions of their leadership.

As someone who travels frequently internationally, I appreciate the folks in other countries not chapping my *** over the ever changing and obviously politically motivated actions that take place her in the U.S. that affect the folks in these other places.

I know many Russians and folks from the Russian sphere of influence, and I've not met one who supports Russia's actions in Ukraine.

I think everyone is sick of your relentless posts, putting other vendors down simply because of where they were born and live, or claiming (falsely) that the original code is gone if you use an obd-II unit to upgrade (vlads unit automatically backed-up my original file onto the micro-sd card during install)

If people want to use your service, they will.

If they choose to use another service, let them. No point in digitally crying about it with "why would you do that?!" posts and trying to make it a political issue.

Agree. In my case I made a very studied decision to yes, spend more more money in order to avoid doing business with someone that comes off as you do. And I’m very comfortable with funding a small business and helping someone prosper in an oppressive state.

 

Anyone know...I have the multi beam LED, but would like to replace the headlights with the EU multi beam version. Has anyone done this, and would this require coding, - or should it be plug and play?

 

They’re the same headlights, you just need someone to activate the full functionally via software.

 

So the million dollar question for me: Would the multi beam module work to activate the headlight or do I need to find a shop to actually do it? So new headlights coded in first, then apply the full headlight upgrade module?

I suggest you read the posts by the vendors that post here offering this as a service before you commit. Sometimes the most prolific demonstrate they're not one to do business with.
