Pads and rotors
Anyone know the rough cost of rotors and pads?

If you want MB OEM ones: in US $ as quoted from US online MB dealer parts source

Front:
Rotor - $900 x 2
Pads - $300 x1
sensor - $10 x1

Rear:
Rotor - $1,080 x 2
Pads - $300 x 1
sensor - $10 x 1

Total - estimate - $4,580

I did my full brakes replacement at near 30,000 miles. Replaced all the above, except rear rotors. Reason for non replacement of rear rotors was from my mechanics assessment which he suggested I can do that on my 60,000 miles as he did not see excess wear on them during the 30,000 miles mark.

I should get my rotors checked out, I have only done 21k miles but twice a month I drive the car to the limit on track days.

I never tracked mine and could have lasted up to around 33,000 miles (I guess) but did them anyway as I take my and others' safety pretty seriously

Ive done pads, but let me get rotors checked. Might as well just get them all done.

I had to do a bunch of cross referencing and took a chance. They work and are completely silent. They bedded fine with 5k mi of use on the stock rotors (no track time) - I have red calipers and the iron rotors

I had pads (front and rear) and sensors replaced with aftermarket (not OEM) at a local European Specialist for $800. (did not replace rotors).
The brakes were not worn out, I was tired of all the dust.)
