Code 543 Dual Sun Visors
My original PO specified code 543 as Dual Sun Visors. The factory production order, however, states 543 Sun Visor with additional function. I also specified the Acoustic package. Did this prevent the dual visors from being installed? Did anyone receive the dual visors in their build? BTW, code 543 is part of the standard equipment in the E63S.

I HATE the way MB de-contents when they facelift. They also took out the passenger seat controls from the driver side. I use that feature often, as well as the dual visors.

Is this the rear seat entertainment prep option? Anyone install the screens? Plug and play? How do they work? Not sure if better than just a couple iPads. Or do they just accept iPads?

This seems like a useless option. I prefer the smell of leather over cheap perfume. Opened this up and it's absolutely disgusting. Makes me want to vomit!
Other than making cabin smell of cheap perfume, does this serve any other purpose? Maybe there are some cool neutral scents for when the car is very old?

There are two accessories that fit. One is a coat hanger and the other is a platform that plugs into the connector. I've no personal experience with either.

^^^Thanks! I will look into it.
Spent a few hours in the car today and I can't get comfortable in the seat. It's like I'm too low and the front of the seat slopes down too much. And the lumbar under your thighs doesn't extend enough to be useful. Really frustrating as this can't be adjusted away. Coming from years of M5s, Mercedes could really learn a thing or two about seats and driving position. These seats leave much to be desired. Ugh

Thanks for the thought. I'm 5' 11" too! Yes, tried that and EVERYTHING possible. I like to be cradled in a seat like a bucket. This one lacks whatever you call that bottom part of the seat that supports your thighs. Too short and too downward sloping. Maybe my seat is broken. Frustrating experience.
Also, spent an hour trying to figure out how to make the HUD brighter. Read the manual but it makes no sense. No luck.
Just realized I've been posting in the wrong thread. How did I wind up here? Lol

You are right. I can not understand the reasoning of using the button of a front door, where there is an additional function, in a back door where there is no such function. MB has these things, such as no 3 way climate zone for 2021 E class including the E53 and E63, but there was for the 2020 models. The same applies for the dual sun visors: gone for the 2021.

I am surprised at the small amount of mb tex on top of the door handle area. Kinda looks cheap next to the smooth leather.

I have the 2nd visor on my (much cheaper, much older) 2010 Passat wagon. I really miss it on my E63. I found this thread about adding the 2nd visor: https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/...nction.242065/
I would really like to do this, but getting the correct part number for the visors (i.e. correct colour) and possibly other parts) seems like a guessing game...
Ivan MacKenzie.
