I have 37psi for the rear, 39 psi for the front. I bet that these tires make much more difference on a 2018 wagon vs the 2021 wagon with the revised suspension calibration in Comfort mode.

FYI, I noticed that the rear tires (295/30R20) do not bulge as much as the previous PS4. The summer tires always looked like they should be mounted on a wider rim.

Anyone have anything to add, as this thread has been quiet for 2 years? Even though they only have about 6K miles, the Pirellis that came with my car are so loud that it totally distracts from the driving experience. Although I run snows here in New Hampshire, I'm going to get AS to extend the non snow running season. Can anyone comment on the Bridgestone RE980AS+? It's advertised as having "Noise Reduction Technology". Is that for real, or just marketing hype?

I've been running with the PS4 A/S tires for the past 2 1/2 years. The tires have about 18000 miles on them now with plenty of tread remaing (rotated once). Noise level on these have always been less than the original Michelin PS4 and have not increased in road noise either.

Have the Bridgestone RE980 AS ( not the plus ) on my CLS550 ( front wheels only ). They do fine but there is a noticeable hum at 50 mph. Higher speed performance up to 100 mph is just fine. If the 980AS+ has resolved the humming issue, I would be happy to get them for my E63S. Like you I have sort of given up on the Pirelli Pzeros that are OEM - they wear too fast and the added grip they provide vs all seasons is not valuable to me cos I never track any of my cars. So I might as well get a set of comfy long lasting all seasons and it will either be Mich Pilot AS4 or Bridgestone RE 980 sometime next year.

Agree totally. HBerman has been quite happy with his PS4 AS, so I'll probably go with those. Will check first though, with Jim at The Tire Rack. I've dealt with him for the last 30 years or so and he has yet to steer me wrong.

and while we're at it, might as well throw the OEM Pirelli Pzeros under the bus even more - seems like they pick up all manner of dirt and grime from the road and throw these up against the underside of the car and the rear bumper. So annoying. My all season tires on all my other cars don't get anywhere near as much dirt and grime onto the undersides of the car. Really want nothing more to do with the Pzeros after they wear out, which is probably soon since they have such short useful lives.

Can't go wrong with Michelin or DWS06+ All Seasons. I only got the Continentals for AMG Wagon because at the time they were the only tires in stock in OE Sizes. The Michelins were on backorder. Made sure to put staggered Summer set of Michelins on my Chevy SS while they were available and only drive it now in NM when temps are above 50F.

Happy this thread is revived. My summers are worn and thinking of moving to all seasons for less tread wear and nicer ride. Still need winters for Canada though lol
