Official waiting room for those with a new W213 on order..
MBUSA doesn’t care, local dealer even less…the next step may be for customers to pay for any damage prior to the delivery

Wow and here I was thinking I was a victim of a “lot bandit”!
Mine had the EXACT issue, broken black plastic when there was supposed to be carbon. I *****ed and the dealer had me a new set of carbon within a few days.

Oddly, the car arrived with partially broken front fender nike swoops in black plastic instead of carbon. Dealer is ordering correct pieces.
This is what happened to my '21 wagon within first week of driving; It was kind of bturbing for a minute and then I got over it!!
Behold the glorious bronze and carbon-ceramic sculptures this car has for brakes. They look sharp with the gray paint and wow do they work well! Splendid pedal feel. Forever spoiled. Unfortunately I got stuck with PZero’s…can’t wait for Michelin’s PS5’s to be released.
My buddy and I spent about an hour wrapping up the front-end with Track Armour (Amazon). Looks pretty bad but it was fairly easy to apply (thinner than PPF) and at least it’s clear, unlike blue painters tape. Glad I did this because the roads were loaded with debris on the 200mi blast home. I bought a 6” wide roll, but the narrower 3” roll would have been nice to have as well for the tighter areas on the front bumper. Full, proper satin PPF coming next Monday.
It’s the second time I’ve owned this car (prior was a 2020), and I’m blown away all over again. The ride is noticeably better in all modes (even on Pirellis) and I only have about 275mi on it, but it doesn’t seem to have come at any detriment to the handling at all. The exhaust is definitely a notch or two quieter but it still sounds really good, with great tone that gets even deeper with the flaps open. Break-in period of course, so I’m doing my best to keep it below 4500rpms, but it’s still impressive how prodigious the power is anywhere in the torque band—jeez…flat!
My quibbles are mostly with the interior, where they fixed all kinds of things that weren’t broken. They replaced a great steering wheel with one that doesn’t work (the capacitive touchpads), got rid of the quick access button panel to the left of the steering wheel, and removed the passenger seat control button. On the flip-side, MBUX is a nice upgrade even though I almost always use CarPlay. On the exterior, I like the new front end, but miss the old taillights, which had a really neat interior texture that sparkled when lit, like the inside of geode. The new lenses are just kind of standard-looking LED units.
The kids love it and it’s fallen right into place knocking out commutes, school runs, and errands, all while providing big big grins. It’s good to be back in this saddle, love it, what a masterpiece of a car.

Black wheels, CCBs, night package, yellow stitching, seats and exterior paint are perfect color combo!
Agree about the steering wheel, it’s really a downgrade. Not to mention it is the third iteration on the same W213 model.
Also, Michelin tires would be a better match for upgraded wheels. Paid extra for black wheels on my last two E63s and both came with Pirellis. Go figure…
Good luck and enjoy the hammer…

Port arrival date in Charleston of March 13th. When do you think I will get it to the dealer?

I would check USAA (if you can qualify) and PenFed (easy to qualify). Should be able to get the lower interest rate than what MB Financial is offering…

There are lease experts on this forum, hope they will chime in with suggestions.
if no responses, suggest starting the new thread on lease vs financing..
