Vehicle lift shortcut option?

Wondering if it is possible to get to vehicle settings, quick assess, vehicle lift faster, can I add a shortcut somehow maybe to the Star button or something else. By the time I get there following the instructions it is a little to late for me, wish there was still a hard button for this feature otherwise I will be hard pressed to use it.

Thanks,
Peter

Did they remove the hard button for lift to the left of the steering wheel on the button panel on the '21s? It's the far right button on my '18.

Yep that panel is gone on 2021, but the favorite button brings up a screen with all those button options (though not as fast as physically pressing a button).

Well damn...I like that little panel, but I don't use it for lifting the car much. Florida is too boring for that button.

I don't see the option to raise vehicle on the favorite button once pressing it on the steering wheel, whenever you get a moment can you please walk me through what you do to shortcut this feature.

Thank you,
Peter

My mistake, it's on the Vehicle Quick Access screen, press the car icon button next to the favorite/star button on the center console. I didn't see a way to save it to favorites screen, but nevertheless requires button press then screen tap for fastest action.

Thank you, that's not too bad and a lot quicker than the way I was getting there, not perfect but certainly better

Thanks again,
Peter

I can't stress how frustrating the removal of this button is, as it's used a lot especially for lowered cars. What's even more frustrating is that there are 6 physical buttons on the center stack (camera, exhaust, ECO, drive mode, suspension mode, ESP) which are duplicated in the AMG drive unit, which now comes standard, so any one of those can be removed. Or better yet, have suspension lift as an option in AMG drive unit for immediate access. Just poor design decisions in the facelift.

I agree 100%. I'm lowered and use that button a lot. Having to push a button and then go to the screen would suck.

Wow, is that a first world problem or what?

Yeah I'm super annoyed that they removed this button panel and the "R" button for passenger seat control from drivers side on the facelift model. Oh well.

How about the climate control sync button removal? Truly first world right there. I have kids who don’t understand the concept of climate control and crank their temps to HI or LO depending on the mood, and my OCD needs that sync button!

Speaking of the "Star" button/position, what have people configured this to do?

Taking eyes off the road to navigate through the menus instead of a single push button selection is a huge step backwards…
Agree with you folks, don’t see the rationale in removing buttons that were already designed and in production?
Plus, missing the switch to control passenger seat from the drivers door - was really nice feature on my 2019. Rear window shade button also gone… Just adds to the list of penny wise and pound foolish decisions.

And on the top of all this, having three different versions of the steering wheel on the same generation - how do we call this?
