Hi all,
So I came out of the store to find a big black SUV with its license plate kissing the star on the front of my wagon. I took pics of this and the license plate plus the SUV too. I backed the wagon up and checked the star and I couldn't see any damage and there were no error messages either. Just to make sure, the star is tilted a little when looking from the side of the vehicle correct? Dumb question I know but I just don't remember. Why people do this is just sad. I'm always careful with other vehicles when I park whether it's a dent mobile or a high end machine. Ok rant is over.

Thanks for the replies one and all. The car does have DISTRONICS but like I stated there does not appear to be any damage. The grill and star attachment are pretty sturdy and not even the chrome trim around the star has any marks so I think I lucked out. I do have a pic of the license plate and side of the SUV but at this point I'm probably not going to pursue it. I will however, be much more careful where I park it going forward.

No as I was with my wife and I didn't want to start a fight. Since I trained in martial arts for years if I hurt someone I can get in trouble for it. Besides, once I saw that there was no damage and everything worked I figured it was not worth the hassle. If there had been damage then things would have been different starting with cops showing up. I guess its like creeps who key nice cars for no reason other than jealousy or drop rocks on cars from over passes. There are a lot of semi feral nitwits around and there probably always will be.

Chances are pretty good the other driver just parked without a thought as to what was in front of them. A large portion of the population acts as if their life is in their phones and everything else is just a distraction.

I had something like this happen to me. A lady street parked her car behind mine with her license plate in my back bumper. I pulled forward and took a photo and was getting ready to leave a note on her car when I see her walking to her car. I informed her that I didn't appreciate her parking job as i can see 2 small scratches from her license plate screws. Instead of her apologizing she said how does she know I didn't back up into her car to try and blame her even though my car was there since first thing in the morning. It's amazing how people just have no concern for others personal property.
