Brabus Exhaust

I haven’t seen too many reviews on the Brabus exhaust system. Does anyone have any experience with it good or bad?

I'm a fan of the throatiness. Do you know if the exhaust valve control is connected to the OEM button?

It's definitely pricey, but it's in line with the cost of an Akrapovic. What makes it significantly more is the cost of the Brabus carbon rear diffuser that is required.

I had α full Brabus wheels and exhaust system on my now gone W222 S63. It is connected to your car so you can operate the exhaust button.

The build quality is awesome, but you got to love the Brabus exhaust system with their diffuser or it will not fit.

IMO. I would rather spend the money on α full Akrapovic system and get the same exhaust volumes without having to replace my diffuser.

FYI. This was the Brabus wheels and exhaust system I sold from my W222 S63:

That's good to hear you had you exhaust button linked. I'm aware that the exhaust system requires the rear diffuser as well. I'm also considering the Akrapovic.

This should give you an idea after 4 years of use.

I would honestly get the AWE system for half the cost. The AWE quality is great, and it also sounds awesome. With catless downpipes and stock performance exhaust, my car is already just as loud as I want it to be, or else I would have gotten the AWE.

I used to hang out with the AWE guys back when they were getting popular off their B5 S4 offerings. They've always made quality stuff.

That said, if you want sound out of these cars, take one look underneath. Replacing your performance exhaust doesn't do much, every sound deadening part is upstream in the downpipes.

Agreed - had their switchpath track exhaust on my c63s and plan on doing same with new e63s

I appreciate your input. I’ll take a look at the AWE offering.
