No I didn't take any pictures. The 4cyl looked like a pretty snug fit. The upper frame rails have been bent inward around the engine.

The V8 doesn't fit in the regular W205 engine bay, either. AMG lengthened the nose of the C63 to fit the engine, so wouldn't be a first to stretch the AMG variants in order to fit a bigger engine. The bigger issue is that AMG doesn't have an I6 engine and Daimler has stopped all new ICE developments. The I6 in the 53 models is not an AMG engine.

Ya and I am guessing on top of that they can't really (and doesn't make sense) to have a C 63s with an i4 while the C 43/45/53 ends up getting an i6 for the W206 so they decided to make the whole lineup inline-4.

Actually, to contradict myself, maybe there are exceptions: https://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-ne...-ar195309.html

In this case, maybe or just maybe lesser variants of a certain lineup of MBs do end up having more cylinders than the greater variants. That exception according to the article is on the GLC at least so far, time will tell for other lineups of MBs.

The battery effectively discharges over a full tank, so then if you fill up, but not charge the battery you will also be down on power until you can charge the battery again.
:

I own a 2023 model which I’ve had for approximately 1.5 years and driven about 15,000 km. For the first 10,000 km, I only charged it couple of times because I managed to keep the battery range around half capacity using regenerative braking. I enjoyed the instant electric boost whenever I needed it, and I mostly drove in comfort mode. This setting allowed me to start the car silently in the neighborhood, automatically switching to the combustion engine when more power was needed on the highway.

In S+ and race mode, the car was an absolute beast, as you’d expect. Despite its weight, the additional electric boost made it faster than a regular engine counterpart.

However, I noticed an issue when the weather turned colder. The EV system took significantly longer to warm up, causing the car to behave erratically. The amperage levels would drop, malfunctions would appear on the display, and the car would go into limp mode. Since it was an electrical malfunction, the ECU would get confused, requiring a trip to the workshop to clear the errors. Without this reset, the car couldn’t properly calculate and manage the high horsepower.

I wondered if the problem was my fault—perhaps not charging the car frequently enough had caused the battery issues—but the dealership couldn’t provide me with any clear answers. I started charging the car more regularly, even when it wasn’t necessary, but the problem persisted. This issue has left a lasting “scar” on the car’s performance and reliability.
Now, the dealership is ordering a new battery, but I likely won’t see my car for a couple of months.

I’ve always waited for new technologies to improve before adopting them, avoiding being a “volunteer tester.” But after this experience, I feel compelled to share my story. It makes me doubt we’ll ever see vintage hybrid or EV sports cars in the future.

All battery performance is hampered/affected by weather changes. Starter batteries have a knack of dying in the summer and winter. Take for instance here in Phoenix, Az. Last summer we had a stretch of 100 F and above for 143 days. 70 of those days were 110 F +. Then this morning, I woke up and it was 39 F. Guess who's battery is showing signs of failure in my daily? This guy!
