That's good to know. I prefer it lower. I can always take the C7 if I want a cushy ride.

That's good advice. I'd rather keep the car at default height/stance in comfort.

good I had an OBD2 lower module by the center screen, so I lowered it like before and now its the same as they did not do the software update .
Can you share with us the Service Code? I want to get it and see if I can tell a difference on the sh** NY/CT roads.
TIA

So sounds like they actually gave it more suspension travel in Comfort rather than changing the damping. That actually makes more sense. The dampers can only be so soft. The valve that restricts the oil flow can't open more than is mechanically possible at the softest setting, which is why the FL has updated dampers that can be softer than the PFL dampers. But more suspension travel will essentially make it less likely to bottom out and also keep it more in the early softer compression stage. After lowering it back down, is it still more comfortable or basically the same as before?

My car seems to ride higher than any 2018-2020 I have seen parked around. But even in sport or sport plus suspension, it still rides smoother than the last 2018 in comfort mode I drove around (less tire crash/jarring feeling)

true, it was not lowering also as pre update when changing it so S+ or race mode

So with the new update your car no longer lowers in S+ or Race? It's always in comfort height?

Good question... also, what is the service code? It has been asked a dozen times and yet no answer.

Re, bulletin/campaign...

I'd like to give the update a try, but worry about losing the effectiveness of my Renntech elm. It looks great now, but the ride quality is still awful on all but the best roads...
like everybody else, would like to see the campaign description...

I'm not sure, is this it?

Campaign #2019100004...
mentions only software, no hard parts..
This may not be what we are looking for..

Although I expect only a software update that is an older campaign and OP has a 2020 - so don't think that is what he was referring to.

Also, AFAIK service campaigns are more like pro-active recalls that they want to apply to all cars.

I'd expect this is more like a TSB which only addresses problems at customer request.

It does lower, probably at the same rate as the pre-facelift.
But when you are starting at a higher level, and lowered by the same amount, you end up higher than the pre-facelift

My car is at the dealer now for some other service - asked about the update - will let everyone know what I hear back. If there is indeed some type of campaign/TSB # I'll post it.

Dealership was not able to find anything related to a suspension update available - so unless someone else can actually post a campaign # I'm not sure it exists.

Use the number in my post above---
It exists, just a matter of whether it affects your car...

(As stated by others after your initial post) The campaign you referenced earlier is from 2018, so almost zero chance it would affect the OPs 2020 wagon.

Which why we are still waiting to hear back from the OP...............

Hey everyone, my apologies for the delay. I took a look at my service paperwork as requested but was annoyed that there was no specific technical service number mentioned. Thanks to @E63Wagen for reminding me as I actually talked to my service manager about it today as I am taking another car in at the end of the week. So here is what he told me and I quote " the customer needs to request 'update to the newest version both the suspension and AMG drive modules.'" I can screenshot my paperwork but I can say it wasn't much more helpful. I will not that they charged $199 for the software although I talked them down to $99 since it is purely software. I can say that is absolutely changes the ride of the car and it is a good improvement. I will be at the dealership on Friday so if I can get a tech to tell me the exact campaign code or whatever is needed I will do that.
