Final Edition or not, has anyone found any 2023 sedans allocated in the US? I was originally looking nationally 2019-20 used and stumbled across a local dealer with 1 already locked in production with a PO and VIN. So, I now have a deposit on that, production date was this week so hopefully due in March! In my searching I did find a large dealer in OH that had 1 in production and another still configurable but that’s it across 10-20 dealerships I contacted.
114 allocated for production.

@go team lives in Canada according to their profile. Either way, unless there's a PO#, there's no actual order. Dealerships have been known to take orders, even though they are not actually real orders due to lack of an allocation and acceptance by the factory.
I can appreciate the offer to purchase and I’ve received one via IM fortunately this for us is a family car and the allocation won’t be for sale 🥲.
Hopefully there are still some allocations available you could all throw money at 🤞. At least this confirms that they would still be around and buildable up to March. I do believe Mar is the last it can be spec

Hope you folks get your 2023 W213 AMG Sedans and Wagons orders fulfilled! If future BMW M5 Wagon is brought to North America rumor is it will be a plug in hybrid like the AMG GT63 E Performance. I'm not interested in something that heavy. Would rather have an "oddball" Leopard 2A7 MBT with Twin Turbo V12...or look for a low mileage 2020/2021 AMG E63s Edition that will pop up for sale soon.

Funny that C&D rates the A6 Allroad ahead of both the AMG Wagon and 2024 RS6 Avant...maybe I need to slow my roll? My 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek was fun with its puny boxer-4 and 5-speed manual. Huh? How do you arrive at that conclusion? Obviously it's working for them and they sell like hot cakes. I was at the BMW World in Germany over the holidays and the place was packed. Audi's design is overall boring and they are losing customers and both MB and Audi are pursuing a risky strategy with writing off the internal combustion engine already. Something BMW hasn't done.

Received word from dealer last week that my 2023 e63s completed build in Germany. It is a non final edition sedan. I was told that it would be held in port on arrival to the East Coast US until the 2023 model was released by Mercedes Benz. I was also told it is is one of the first 10 built for the US.

Anyone care to shed some light it looks like no orderable options are available for the FE.. I was told it comes just “fully loaded” and can’t change anything about it. I was hoping for some little things like tow hitch and some other oddities

@go team Did you put a request in first which turned to a allocation? My local dealer put in a request for me, with no build date. He was straight up and said this might not even happen. Debating if I should order the M5 now or even a M550i.

I have been asking about it since last summer. In october I was emailed that there was an allocation but it was already pre-specified, with a build date in January. I was able to make some changes but unable to change the wheels, for example. I did previously purchase an e63s from the same dealership and do my servicing with them.

In my case I completely lucked out, I started looking used (pre-facelift) in late December and decided in mid-Jan to ask every dealer within a 1-2 hour radius if they had any 2023 allocations. I found just the one car with a late Jan production date that was unsold that they were willing to sell at MSRP. It was locked for changes but it is close enough to what I would have spec’d anyway (it looks like they followed pretty close to final edition spec). I too am a repeat customer but it has been 15 years since I ordered my SLK55 with them (that I still have, only 30K miles).
