2020 E63S Reset Service Light - YouTube Methods Failed

Hi everyone, I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but I hope you can tell me what!

I've tried the methods described in various YT videos, basically pressing the ignition button once with the doors closed, going into the trip menu, holding back and the select button in various combinations and times, (1.5 seconds, 5 seconds, etc), pressing them together, separately, etc. I also searched here with no real luck.

I have also just gone into the service area all the way to the left and selected Assyst Plus to manually select Service A, but it only highlights the window and offers no reset options. It's a bit maddening. Any suggestions?

It didn’t work for me either. I have a ‘21.

There is a thread on this topic on this forum that did not work for me, see if it works for you.

I should specified, mine is a 2020. Did you have the dealer do your reset? Trying to avoid that, given the tuning status and other aspects of the car.

Fellas, the newer cars have several different steering wheels. The year isn't so important. Make sure you start in the home screen.
Just did mine but I have the newer wheel in the newest E-350 and used this link.

My wheel is different from that, but I'll try that when I leave my office shortly.

My car is ~100 days over on Service A message. I did the first oil change at 3,000 mi and that was it. I live in Vail and my trusted dealer is in Denver, or 3 hours, and I rather get a root canal than to go to Denver; so the Service A message pops up when I drive the car which is not frequent. I will take it in next spring.

First, thank you! have a '21 E63 Wagon US car, with the same exact steering wheel as the video^. I had tried that youtube (and others) in the past to no avail, and I just tried it 5 more times to clear "Service A" and it does not work for me. The fallacy in my case is that "Workshop" does not appear on the screen.

Has anyone with a '21 E63 on this forum been able to clear their service message? Yes, I have heard that it works on 350, but I just wonder if there is a difference? This should not be that hard.

@Igooz
If your wheel is the same it will work.
Be certain to start in the "mileage/trip screen" and all doors and hoods are closed.

It took me 2 x to see the workshop on the left. Count carefully.
NOTE> 3- *Release* then quickly hold "OK" for 5 seconds I was waiting too long on step 3.
Print the below and bring it in your car.

New steering wheel Service Reset
Left wheel control (USA)
2021-2022 E-350
1- Press ignition on once
2- Press & hold HOME 10 seconds
3- *Release* then quickly hold "OK" for 5 seconds
4- *Release* then quickly press HOME again and swipe to left to "Workshop"
5- Service Plus go to ASSIST PLUS,
6- FULL SERVICE, grade of oil (229.51 oil grade or whatever you did)
7- exit restart car

Yeah, I've tried multiple YouTube methods so far. No luck. That's why I posted here.

Probably some others. I may very well be doing something wrong, but I have not been able to access a menu that allows a reset.

Follow the facelift with the third video, make sure doors are closed, trunk is closed, key in the marked spot in the cupholder area, all windows closed. Screen shows trip and odometer, key position one (foot off brake press keyless start button once, do not enter accessory mode).

Thanks, this did not work, but I am also not sure what the third video means. I watched the one about the 2019 e300 but the issue is their Home button when they hold it does nothing, mine it takes you to the selection screen. I'm losing my mind, Mercedes vehicles is so ridiculous these days with their tech, it's unbelievable how bad it it is. Please pleas, the steps are ...Hold the left Home/back button for 1.5 seconds then hold OK black button? I tried that, nothing, no stupid Workshop option.

A 2020 is a facelift vehicle, the 2019 video is not applicable to you as that is a pre-facelift.
