For wheel and tire protection form our provider Fidelity you can reach out with questions or for pricing at tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333. OEM and aftermarket wheels are covered, aftermarket wheel replacement is covered until the amount of OEM wheel replacement at the dealer (often much higher than aftermarket wheel pricing anyways).

I got the contract for the Mercedes First Protection and I'm going to pass. I was quoted CAD$4130 for 6 years. Some of the reasons for me passing:
Aftermarket tires and rims need to meet the manufacturer's sizes so why upgrade if not upsizing?
Metal plates and uneven roads due to construction are not covered and are not "road hazards"
There has to be structural damage to the tire and rim causing air loss
They won't cover cosmetic damage to a rim unless there is approved structural damage to the tire, and then cosmetic damage can only be sanded painted or refinishing without the need to apply an additive material or bend or straighten the rim. So no curb rash repairs unless it caused a flat too.
Won't cover cosmetic damage to tires
They won't guarantee paint match or cosmetic repair matching the other rims
Tires need a min tread depth at the lowest point at the time of damage
Pretty much it seems to only cover cracked rims. I haven't cracked one yet, I always bend them. Unless I'm missing something bent rims are not covered.

It's hilarious because two different managers tried to upsell me and both used the wording "highly sought after" programs blah blah. I guess that's to be expected of course, heh.

25% depreciation or roughly $1 per mile driven. These wagons are getting back to historical residual values.

Per the link, $91k sold price/$127k sticker price = 28% depreciation
That doesn’t take into account cost for seller’s commission.

Winter Beaters
What do you Canadians/AMG E63s Fraternity drive in the winter? $198K CAD is alot of Molsons.
Remember the salt during my campus years at Rochester eating thru my shoes and boots during the overcast gloomy winters. Underground Tunnels helped out some. The summers off Lake Ontario were glorious and the City of Toronto is a well kept secret. Last visit was the summer of 1983 in a Pontiac 6000 STE. GF at the time worked for Rochester Products and brought home fully instrumented test mules. Intend to visit Toronto again in an upcoming summer. Too bad Molson stopped brewing Brador. Ex GF is now a Xerox Exec but spends part of the year in sunny Scottsdale with her Father when working remotely.

That said though, I guess people buy Urus or Purosangue for this reason... so they can enjoy it all year long while bringing family members onboard as well?

You're a better man than I for certain. Driving a 210,000 CAD vehicle with the salt, sand, etc on winter roads, to me, is incredible. Add to the road conditions those 4-wheel crazies who drive recklessly in the frozen stuff and you have all of the ingredients of a disaster waiting to happen. Of course, you have CCB'S and they'll get destroyed by the sand and debris for certain. Good luck with the winter driving .

Unfortunately they are lazy (cuz I doubt they can't afford proper snows) like that, I don't know about you I seen lots of GLE 53 drivers around with stock summer performance tires during the winter, they think they can do whatever they want because they have an SUVs.... ugh. Then there are also many MB SUV drivers with the all-seasons (which is at least better but nothing beats a dedicated pair of winters).
