Car totalled - ordered the same one
I just ordered a 2023 E53 which will be built in January. Same color - Silver. I have had many cars over the years - BMW, Porsche, Audi and MB. This car is by far the best - and safe.
Both doors were creased
Was pushed into the jeep in front who had stopped
See crease in black circle

BTW, do you have a pic of the car which hit you. Curious to see what kind of damage it sustained.
And, can you still open the trunk with ease?
“relatively” small. Trunk works fine, even with some damage to it.
See crease
Trunk still opened
See door gap
No kidding
Car that hit me

Was in a Washington Flier taxi coming from Washington Dulles to DC a couple years ago and only a few blocks from my hotel when we were struck by a DC taxi from behind while stopped at a light. The other driver was head down in his phone and never touched the brakes. Both cars were Priuses so got to see how both ends of the car faired in a ~35 mph collision, which really didn't seem that bad considering.

I am not as fortunate as you are. During my 40+ years of driving, I had been involved in more accidents but none of which was any of my fault though.
I experienced the same while back: stopped at the traffic light, but car behind me did not - luckily this was at the lower speed. Just the rear bumper damage...
I was T-boned right rear 1/4 panel with my son in the back seat. Fire and ambulance shut the whole street until police came. Paramedics checked us out, I gave my statement, and we walked away, car totaled.
A business had footage of the crash (the idiot driver contested the police report). We were airborne! Flying sideways, landed almost rolled and stayed upright somehow. It was pretty spectacular. Until that accident I had always incorrectly assumed I could avoid anything. I didn't even know what was going on, staring at the world flying by sideways in slow motion, my counter-steering inputs having no effect "something's wrong...." very weird feeling.
OP glad everything crumpled where it was supposed to crumple! Whew.
