(Help) Can someone post a pic of your rear Pirelli Sottozero series II?

Hi All,
I recently had a set of Pirelli Sottozero II's installed on my E63. I had an extra set of stock wheels so I elected to go with 20" sizing. The fronts have the rim protector band but the rears don't. The trouble is the profile of the tire is much more rounded than square and it makes the tires look mismatched. The installer said they're a matching set from Pirelli. I posted pics below.

Anyone have a picture of their 295/30 20 Pirrelli with the band? Every tire I've ever had for all four of my previous AMG's had them.

Thanks for the help!
J.

Ok thanks! It didn't appear right to me but I have a feeling it will be an argument......... uhm...... discussion about what is correct.

If anyone has any other thoughts on this I'd really appreciate it

front tire looks unusually stretched and back tire looks too wide for the rim

My Michelin PA4's are similar - 'oversized' on the rear but are the same size as stock, fronts are not that stretched though. It's just how they are, I don't mind personally.

I don't think your rears are "N" spec. Is there a small letter N on the fronts, near the tires size dementions? If yes, it makes sense as they have the protective 'shoulder'. Th installer most likely thinks the tires 'match' as they are thank ing about the date stamp, brand name and model name match. Im I using too many air quotes? Let us know @cruzmisl !

Looks like they installed the 265’s on the rear rims and the 295’s on front rims . Check the offsets and the width of the rims .

Yeah your rear tires definitely look stretched. The staggered fitment wider should always be on the rear as the rear wheels are about 1" wider than the fronts, these are not square setups.
