does this only apply as an addition for cars currently still under factory warranty, or how does it work for cars outside the factory warranty? or is that irrelevant

Irrelevant. I just bought a warranty from him on my ‘19 which was a few months outside of original warranty and not CPO. It was essentially the only option, even a Mercedes dealership said they do not have any extended warranty options for my AMG.

@subiefiles what @JTS97Z28 said, factory warranty does not matter, as long as the vehicle is under 12 years old and under 120K miles we can provide some sort of warranty coverage.

Freedom has a payout limit of $20K vs. Fidelity's payout limit is the value of the vehicle. Fidelity how ever can get 2x-3x more expensive on vehicles 35K+ miles

What are some items not covered by the Platinum warranty? Is there a website that we can review this list? Is it transferable to a new lender if you sell the car? And it starts after the factory warranty ends?
