Thanks for posting your update. Just to be clear about the extended warranty, it was the "factory" Mercedes extended warranty, correct?
I believe so as knowing me, that's what I would have purchased from the get go . . . Have not had time to look it up in my contracts s as I'll have to find those first . . .
Was it the Mercedes service techs/advisors that notified you it was going to be covered under your extended warranty? If so, then that would indicate you have the MB extended warranty.

sure was. I kinda doubt that would offer aftermarket while sitting in showroom picking up a new AMG
I believe this might be the first confirmed instance of the MB extended warranty covering a RMS leak...which is great news because I have the MB extended warranty as well
2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone

It's listed in the covered items for the Extended Warranty brochure at the end of the list.
I have not had part list them in your repair order yet. But these are the parts number on the S63 I currently have coming. With this being the same engine im assuming it the exact same part numbers

they don’t match up with what was previously posted so ….. ?

Yet another set of p/n's. Not the same as previously posted.

Yes and that offers some assurance, but the actual policy language does not include that list. From what I remember, the policy language defines what is covered as all things that are not named in the "what is not covered" section. In any case, it's great to have a real-world example to point to.
This is what my SA was able to come up with but it looks like I’ll be waiting a while til they actually get here. Picked car up after brake job and a B service but SA wasn’t there, supposed to call me on Monday to discuss further steps … numbers certainly don’t match up with what you guys have posted …. ?
the latest: just got off phone with SA, Oil Separators backordered til at least middle of July, likely longer than that . . .
winters here in Idaho are a bit on the cold side but we've lived here only for a couple of years and I haven't most miles in this climate. Oregon was not quite as cold but much more humid . . .
Im in Arizona as well.... However I have a 2019 G63 AMG @30k miles on it. I noticed it in the last 1-2 weeks, and its just recently started to turn into the normal AZ summer 110* plus. So maybe the heat made it worse? Not sure.
Noticed some oil on my garage floor. Looked under and definitely has some oil residue on the covers/area where transmission would meet the block.
I have not had it diagnosed yet, however after reading all this, i'm about 99% sure it's a RMS leak.
So add the G Wagon to the list, and there is a thread over there as well.
Quick question for those with the problem, not that I plan to wait very long, but is there anything to worry about if I can't get it repaired ASAP? Am I able to drive it still for a week or 2 until i'm physically able to have it checked out and repaired?...other than, of course the drops of oil in my garage.
I just don't want to be driving it and blow the RMS completely out and have oil everywhere and a blown motor.
I'll be demanding they replace the separators as well. Clearly they know this is an issue, maybe a class action lawsuit would get their attention.
Also, anyone have any luck regarding coverage the emissions warranty if the bumper to bumper is expired?? The emissions warranty is longer isnt it?
