Shot in the dark here and I may be too late to the party however, are there any dealers that still have a 2023 e63s allocation? My search here in NJ hasn't turned up much and the dealers are confused as to what is happening. I did hear from one dealer that I may be able to take over an allocation if a dealer ordered the car and if its not spoken for (depending on the stage of production I can make changes). If everything is accounted for, I'm not sure if anyone knows if there will be another run before the Final Editions come out later this year, I'm assuming no. Appreciate it.

 

No more non Final Edition E63S sedans are being allocated. A dealer may have an unsold car that can still be changed.

 

Just as follow up, I've tried with multiple dealers and promises of allocations all for naught. Get what 2023 is available (at the dealer lot) while you still can.

 

Yes it's been this way since at least mid February. There's some discussion about it in a few threads here. I also personally went through this before finding one.

 

I am/was in the same boat you, found a spec I liked and put down a deposit. According to a salesperson he called a few dealerships for me that had allocation that were still configurable but they said they had deposit on those builds already.

 

IMO. MBZ should have sent and allowed the US plenty of non FE 2023 E63s especially since there were no 2022 E63s avaiable here. Seems they should be trying to catch up to all the losses from not having any Model Year 2022 E63's.

 

Not sure why dealers are giving the run around, seems the forum had more info and earlier than they did. Weird. The US configurator was issue as well, but that's another story. I'm assuming they would transfer those interested to the next gen allocations.

I did manage to find one with the specs I wanted but compromised on color. I'll post a thread with the journey. I'm glad I got it when I did but the dealerships not having info while there was a US configurator live for the e63.....was frustrating. Good luck to anyone else.

 

Yep. MBZ pooched it big time. Seems they cancelled all pre-configured allocated orders, turned around and said "here's what we built, buy them or ****off."
I don't know anyone that got the 2023 E63 they wanted. Everyone compromised on something buying from stock already at the dealers. Not one person I know of placed an order, and then received that order.
