Add in another 100 horsepower and can we imagine that that will be the next E63s? Unfortunately we won’t get the wagon here in the states, but for those that will, it looks like it will be an attractive car at least from the outside with plenty of power and useful EV range. I still don’t like interior and the weight will be the other issue.

But there hasn’t been a press release for the E63 yet? I at least haven’t seen it. I’d be surprised if they didn’t bring the E63 wagon to the US with its history of doing so for the last 25 years.

In the case of the E63, it's possible they would also bring the wagon, but the E63 in general for the 214 series doesn't seem to be coming anytime soon.

Since they’ve released a wagon for the E53, does it reduce the chances of an E63 (sedan and wagon) launching at all? For some reason it seems unlikely that they would do an E53 wagon if there was going to be an E63 released in the same year. Just feels like they’d do a wagon on the E63 and do sedan only for E53.

;E53 produces 443bhp and 413lb ft of torque ICE.
There’s a 28.6kWh battery, of which 21.22kWh is usable, and it powers a 161bhp electric motor that’s integrated into the gearbox, which has nine ratios and drives both axles via Mercedes’ variable 4Matic+ four-wheel drive system regardless of which energy source is in use. Combine the ICE and battery outputs and the new E53 nudges up to the old 63 in terms of outputs: 577bhp in Normal mode, 603bhp in Race with all the batteries charged – torque stands at 553lb ft combined.

if there is a 63 MB will bring the wagon here if they can — and I see no reason why they couldn’t because we’re getting all terrain
guessing it’ll be a 6cyl 7-800hp hybrid
now bizarrely, I've seen several auto journalists make mention that they don't expect MB to make a 63 at all for any market, which I think would be odd, but only time will tell.

I wouldn’t assume that. Last gen Europe got a 53 wagon and Sedan as well as 63 in both bodies.

2019 E63S wagon; 2016 Landrover Landmark
Only way I replace my E63S wagon is if I get the new GT when the "S" is available. Has the best engine and looks like 911 from the rear with big boot. Kids are in college or soon to be done, so me and wagons might be done. Only way I go electric is with a cargo bike.

2021 AMG E63s Wagon
When Son left the house bought him a 2021 Kia Soul. Bought wife a 2020 CRV Hybrid and gifted Daughter wife's old 2019 Buick when she graduated MIT. I might be able to afford a GT myself in 2-3 years since told the Family Dad is done providing free transportation in Retirement...lol

The "603 HP" is an interesting nod to the E63S. But as with MB's other efforts to hybridize the AMGs, you wind up with a much heavier, more complex, and more expensive car, with not much more performance. Here at least with the E53, it looks like it may have picked up 3 tenths in the 0-60...maybe on a good day.
As for the E63S or the successor to it, the company's deafening silence and "we've gone dark" position speaks volumes. I think there is a major re-think underway as to what the future E63 or E73 type vehicle is going to look like. The new C63 is not selling and the car has been heavily criticized all around. I think the "no more V8, no more customer" message is starting to sink in. Mercedes had stated a couple months ago (along with GM, Ford and Porsche among others) that there would be a massive pullback from EV investment. And today, the MBZ CEO basically told the EU to go pound sand and chinese EV tariffs, basically saying the EU was offering things none of the car manufacturers were asking for. The underlying message being: stop interfering in our business.
As it stands, if there is an E63S, it will probably get the same power setup currently offered in the S63 and the GT63 SE. If they stay with the 6 in the E63, you now have that model underperforming the other two, whereas before it was at least on par with the GT63 S. I don't see how that flies with E buyers. One the other hand, as we've seen with the GT 63SE specs and those of the new C63, all you get is a much more expensive and 800lb heavier car, which performs no better on the street, gobbles up consumables (and related carbon consumption), and does not work well at all on a track. Buyers are asking: "what's the point?".
Speaking for myself, I'll be keeping my 2019 E63S. It's an awesome car just the way it is. If I want a pure EV, I'll buy one from EV expert Tesla and it will be damn fast (won't happen). If I want a hybrid, I'll buy one from hybrid expert Toyota. Like most people, I bought my E63 because of the engine, and if it doesn't have that, I'm not interested.

go fast grocery getter wagon
My guess would be news release around end of 2024. Production as MY25 in early part of 2025. Similar scheduling as the MY24 C63S E .. which has just started showing up in North America.

Here's to hoping they kill that all-terrain Subaru Outback cladding on the wagons. That render above in a silver/red wagon would be dope but there's no way on earth for me to even consider it with those stupid plastic fender flares. They ruin the car.
