I don't remember how I stumbled into this thread but nonetheless, I wanted to say that I've used BenzNinja in 2024, and everything was great. I bought a separate ($100) laptop just for this purpose and a Star Connect C4, and they sent me an ssd to put into the laptop that has all the software (Xentry, WIS / EPC, Vediamo, etc). BenzNinja (Peter) did an awesome job coding the ILS+ lights (which I agree are incredibly satisfying to use and watch them adjusting the light around vehicles) plus he added Android Auto, and changed a few other things like 5 blinks on the bump of the turn signal and remembering last mode selected (Individual) versus always returning to comfort.
I'm not sure if this BenzNinja (profile below) is the same or different from whom everyone was talking about in this thread in 2023, but he has been nothing but professional and very responsive in 2024. The only negative I have is his giant lengthy ads in some of the postings on this forum.
Just trying to provide the other side of the coin opinion here with my own personal experience.

Yes, that is the person that has been discussed in this thread. The measure of a vendor is what happens when something goes wrong. BenzNinja's behavior on this forum plainly demonstrates the way he treats others. So if something goes wrong that behavior tells us how it will play out.

I’ve seen his ads and they seemed spammy. So I haven’t jumped on the service yet. I want the intelligence code since I have the hardware. I want to see if he can code out the silly “red hands in steering wheel” prompt when using distance pilot. The roads here are smooth and my hand input so minor that it’s constantly thinking I’m hands off.

yep, I totally get that but it’s so annoying when you live in Florida. Everything is flat and the curves are pretty gentle. So I’m constantly getting that message. I really wanna code it out. because it makes an otherwise amazing Cc a pain to use. I can’t get more than 45 seconds before it activates. My hands are on the wheel, the constant messages are annoying.
I had a rental Hyundai that won’t beep or care if you’re hands where lite. I did miles and miles of Florida highway without a care in the world.

I've used BenzNinja for a couple of years now and have never had a problem. He is always responsive and is clear to let me know whether he can make a mod or fix a problem. Fortunately, my cars are a little older and he's been able to do everything I requested. I've had the AMG menu, transmission upgrade (adding Agility/Sport+ and last setting remembered), and flashing brake lights. Additionally, he was able to reset my transmission to resolve harsh downshifting in the 3-2-1 range.
I can't speak to any of the accusations being made because I have not experienced them. But as far as quality service goes, he's been great.
I recently purchased the MWMods lowering module for my E63S wagon, and I have to say it works flawlessly! I'm also considering their Stage 1 tuning since it allows for a quick return to stock settings. I've heard great reviews about it, but I’m curious if anyone here has been using it for an extended period. Any feedback would be appreciated!
I have the MWMods stage 1 tune on my E63 sedan. Been about 3 years and works great. Noticeable bump in power. Just passed emissions inspection about a week ago. Good customer service as I recall. They give a discount if you get bundle some items on 1 module
