And update on the rough idle - it's not the common axle issue, it is "clamps near the turbos not securing properly" they have ordered replacement parts and will have it all replaced when I'm back for the new brake calipers.
Man I am so glad my dealer knows what they are doing. Oakville is GOLD for service, pure gold.

Which clamps are these? My GLE63s was delivered with two clamps that weren't fastened, though I didn't notice anything until the hose popped off.
They smoke tested intake and exhaust, my intake stuff all fine. The leak on my car is is between the catalytic convertor and RH turbo only when cold. The new clamps are a new style to solve this.
Installed the Sto-N-Sho.
Took two minutes. Very easy.
My concern is wind at speed will make it touch the bumper. I can flex it easy pressing an estimated 10-20lbs just with my one hand. A piece of masking tape on the bumper pointy part hopefully will tell.
I think it looks so stupid. Oh well! At least I can’t see it from inside the car!
I'm in California and here a front plate is required also. I've driven for 30 years without a front plate and never one look. Even went through a sobriety check point and they didn't say a thing. Of course, if I ever get pulled over for being bad I'm sure it will be noticed.

I lasted 1.5 years and was pulled over _only_ for the plate, on a freeway. Maybe they were annoyed I wasn’t being bad.
The front plate already scraped on a speed bump. This stinks. I may have to find out what happens if one gets multiple tickets for no front plate here in Ontario. The internet has conflicting advise.

Maybe dump the plate and leave hardware? You ‘could’ claim it must have blown off??
Can someone explain the 2023 colors? I thought they were all the grey magno (999 count worldwide). I think IT Guy's car is a 2023, but it's the lovely Iridium Silver, which I really like (same as my 2018). Someone asked for the window sticker (or VIN) but I didn't find it.
For the last 3-4 months, I've been exploring Cars & Coffee every Sunday here on the SF peninsula. There's quite a few within 20 minutes. I'd say 95 out of 100 cars don't have a front plate.

My car is not a "Final Edition" so any color was available. I personally did not like the Final Edition options or colors.
The discontinued Iridium, which is a bit brighter and more glow-y then my car, was superseded with High Tech Silver.
I had Iridium on the W212 and loved it. Hi-tech Silver was the next best thing for the W213.

Well I am happy to report that even driving in Mexico the license plate does not seem to be hitting the tape, so I pulled the tape off today.
It's the little things in life.
So there were 999 Final Editions (worldwide) and an unknown number of allocations for regular configurations? Perhaps Canada had the latter option available.

Your link displays the configuration of the VIN in this thread, but I can't seem to figure out how to reset the VIN without cascading into an ad that takes me to another site. The URL is encoded so modifying the URL isn't an option. I'd be happy to donate to the site if that gives me any "in." Help me Obi-wan. Trying to look up: WDDYJ7KA9LA025031
