Still super happy with the car! It's a different car after the fixes. My wife even noticed how it's smoother, more luxurious feeling idling and driving around. And the brakes are so much better, the pedal feel and engagement is no longer almost binary with lots of clunking.

In other news we added two more Mercedes to the fold! Both white A220's. One hatch and one a sedan, for the kids. Neither know it's actually happening. We've just been casually looking at cars they text us since they both got their licenses within a day of each other a couple weeks ago. Plus they keep asking to take my car, Mom's car, and I keep saying no since they are not on our insurance. All the cars they look at we have been telling them they are all out of budget. I'm in the camp of "if they hate the bus they'll figure it out" but mom convinced me over the years this day was coming and I've conformed. LOL. We are trying to keep it a secret until Christmas. Usually we are on holidays and the kids are used to getting a small token present that has to fit in a suitcase. I can't wait to see the look on their faces this year when they open envelopes with keys! It's gonna be epic.

C63S for teenagers? That may be a undesirable combination.

There is still left over new inventory for those things? It was discontinued and last model year was 2019.

Maybe dad starts talking about a new E63S wagon they got in and for a Christmas treat goes to the dealer just to take a look. Oh wow, check out those 2 MBs with a big ribbon on each. Someone got a great Christmas present. Guess what, they're for you!

In Canada the last model year was 2022. The cars are used from a non-mb dealer. One has warranty left. My dealer is running the VIN's and quoting the inspecting and extending to the max. If they can't do the 2nd one that is just out of warranty, I will contact Highline here to quote.

Lakehouse is only 20 min away! And we are empty nesters. Son is in mandatory boarding his last year of highschool, and daughter is away at University. So except for weekends, and only if they come home, will we have to hide anything. If they do come to the lake before Christmas I can just park the cars on the street and they'll never know.

I used the snowflake setting for the first time. It works great!

Only took me two winters to remember.

We had some snow again.
Car raised I thought no sweat! Let’s go!
Only made it one car length before it got completely hung up. LOL. Forced to stay put until the road got plowed.

That is sooooo pretty. I grew up in the snow belt southeast of Buffalo, and such photos bring forth soulful nostalgia... or maybe it's my age and a bad memory of anything that's happened recently. What snow tires do you use? I'm in California and just got back from a trip down the Mendocino/Sonoma (aka, Mendonoma) coast in the pouring rain (and no small flowing mud). Spent the usual 2+ hours washing and detailing. My OCD would be intolerable in your circumstance.

Thank you
I use the MICHELIN Pilot Alpin 5 snow tires
They are great. This time the snow was just far too deep! Car surfed off the ground via the under trays. Hard to get traction with wheels in the air.
Buffalo gets a lot more snow then we do! We are about an hour from there and about 40 mins from Niagara Falls NY. We cross a few times a month for the best pizza and wings

Backyard was pretty wicked during the storm

Maybe this is why people buy SUVs , thankfully that much snow is rather rare in Toronto
