They're making it harder and harder for the DIY'ers. Maddening!
Sorry for the confusion earlier but to clarify that the 2022 C 300 or 2022 W206 for that matter does indeed have the MBUX 2.0/NTG 7.0 system, it might be a different software revision that is different (so they might have changed the way they pull the menu up) but the core system is the exact same. MBUX 2.0/NTG 7.0/ (also known as My MBUX) first debuted on the W223 S-Class, then it started appearing when the W206 was revealed. The X254 since is based on the W206, also has this exact same system.

Since then, facelift MBs has been getting it, this includes the facelift C118 CLA, facelift H247 GLA, facelift V167 GLE, facelift X167 GLE, etc.

The W214 E-Class debuted with MBUX 3.0, NTG 8 and subsequently the CLE came with this exact same system.

S-Class facelift and future MB models are said to have MB OS which departs from both MBUX and NTG.

MBUX 1.0/NTG 6.0 first debuted on the W177 A-Class then the H247 GLA that got revealed had it. The V167 GLE revealed got it. The X253 GLC facelift got it. Facelift W213 got it.

Thank you...I had someone at the dealership tell me it was not possible now for an enduser to reset the service interval, but again - I've been fed erroneous information before from dealership people, so never know what actually to believe... Thanks again for taking the time to respond..

Well, the dealership will never want you to reset it yourself as they want you to do the oil change at their place as service revenue makes up a lot of their profits, so ya I will take that information with a grain of salt.

There is a simple solution for “shortcut problem” : just follow the sequence and timing as described.

I was getting “shortcut” offer, however after few trial and error attempts was able to get into the workshop menu

Thanks all for your patience - OK, finally I got into the workshop menu - after several attempts....Key for me was Push Start Button 1x, need to be on trip odometer/mileage screen, then followed your directions exactly, 10 seconds Home - then 10 seconds OK, followed by OK again for 1 second...........however when I then got into ASSYST PLUS the only option was "Ignition Stage 1" - I then went through all the menus and did not see an option to reset the Service A or B intervals. Oh well... see image below - this was as far as I could go with the Assyst Plus submenu..

Ignition stage 1 probably means ignition position 1 which means press the start stop button once but not enter accessory mode, and foot off the brake of course? Maybe... Just guessing

Yes, this is correct. User manual defines these two states:
POWER ON is pressing start/stop once with foot off the brake
IGNITION ON is pressing start/stop the second time with foot off the brake

in either case engine is not running.

Thank you W205C43PFL and 6G Schnell for your help - I finally got into the correct Workshop menu and was able to reset the service A/B intervals. I followed these steps:2023 Mercedes Benz C43 AMG Workshop Mode

Steps:

1 – press start/stop button 1x

2 – using the left scroll pad bring up the trip/mileage display

3 – press left “Home” button for 10 seconds

4 – then immediately press left OK button for 10 seconds

5 – then press the OK button again for 1 second

6 – The workshop menu will then display

7 – using left scroll touchpad scroll to Assyst Plus

8 – You will see “For Assyst Plus – Ignition Stage 1

9 – Press the Start/Stop button again (do not touch the brake or accelerator pedal)

10 – You can then scroll through the Assyst Plus Service Interval Reset menu

Glad to hear it and I too appreciate the other forum member for chiming in, thank you!

The key thing was I notice in some of the screens forum member posted on with the "shortcut" issue, they don't have it on the trip screen but you were different, you said you had it on the trip screen and it still doesn't work so I was scratching my head what went wrong.
Thanks for providing your update.
