It’s ok if you can not apply my words to your lack of understanding. I have a fidelity warranty so as a person that has required the use of the warranty company, I have quite the FIRST HAND experience and perhaps it’s that I have bought and read many warranties from various companies, and have never been stiffed by one. Being able to properly read and interpret contracts enabled me to make the correct choice in coverage. If I were to be dumb enough to buy a warranty I did not research or understand, perhaps I’d be upset, at myself. I’m educated enough to know what types of incidents contracts cover which types of claims and don’t require overlapping coverage. I’m smart enough to understand those words that include, exclude, or require proof on my behalf to continue a claim. I’m also able to read the limits of liability and understand what that means with depreciation of the vehicle over time. I’ve been doing this for 22 years and have recovered tens of thousands in repairs. It is quite ok that you are unfamiliar with car warranties (and general contracts) and how they work. This is not like car insurance where they are required to make you whole. They only cover their contractual obligations. It’s really quite easy.
