E63 transmission issue - Car stalls in Drive Slips in Drive and Reverse S213 W213

Not going to the purchasing dealer anymore, I’m taking it to my fav dealer that took care of my 2016 for 22 awesome experience visits.
Im confident it’ll work out.

UPDATE: I believe that one of the speed sensors is either defective or the connection to it is loose. There is one on each wheel. No telling which one is the problem.

They re-programmed the transmission control module, re-adapted the clutch, and re-adapted some gear shift thing. I offered for them to keep the car as long as they want and drive it every day until the problem repeats - they said it might be solved with all the reprogramming and re-flashing, encouraged me to pick it up and see.
I mentioned the speed sensors when I dropped it off, I forgot to ask about them again when they called - I just left a VM will see when I pickup the car tomorrow (they want to drive it a little more).
I'm guessing this is probably too deep of a dive for a dealership though.

Intermittent issues can be very difficult to diagnose for sure...

clutch slipped for the first minute. I was trying to call them to come see. After a minute the clutch tightened up and was normal.
They are looking into it further.

Silly question and i know the car is new, but did they verify the fill level of the transmission? I recall seeing that when the level of the fluid is low, one of the side effects of a slipping clutch which causes accelerated clutch wear.
Very sorry that you have to go through this nonsense.

These things happen
It'll get resolved.
I wish it would’ve happened with the tech seeing! At least they have my video, and noted as such on the work order describing the issue.
I'm driving the W212. Good thing it hasn’t sold yet!
Very wise to leave it there, it's too dangerous of an issue on which to take a risk. If they have to, they should just drive it daily, while logging, and keep doing that even if it takes weeks (hope not!).
I am sure this will be resolved at some point or another, let's just hope it's sooner rather than later.

Now we wait for their reply and next steps to take.

My 212 got a new engine. Will the 213 get a new transmission? LOL
I'm so lucky!

Keep you guys posted

I don't want to be a PITA but if I can easily ask for something they'll give up for not having use of a brand new car for a month... I'll ask!
I already asked my service advisor that question too, waiting to hear back.
Over the years, I've learned the hard way that in situations like this you must act swiftly and aggressively.

In this situation, you can consider filing but you will need to give the manufacturer and dealer chances to fix the issues at first or even multiple tries. If the problem remains unresolved, then you can start the process of application.
