Picked up this beauty on Friday 9/22
Anyways, the car is an absolute animal. I'm taking it easy during the break in but can't wait to open this beast up!
Big disappointment with the car is that it doesn't have wireless car play and the carplay screen is not full screen. If I'm wrong on both of these please let me know but I just have a hard time believing a car this new and this expensive would lack both of those? WTF was MB thinking?
Anyways some photos below

These cars are off the hook.
You’ve entered a a whole new universe.
Congrats on the new whip!
You have to buy an aftermarket wireless CarPlay adapter. And you're right it doesn't go full-screen, not sure if there's some coding answer to that or not though.

on my 18, my Car Play does not go full screen. The "left most" portion of the display shows the Car Play logo (where you set it to dynamic, navigation, etc).
On my wifes CLS450... her MB DOES do full screen on the Apple Play. It has the same control system as my car so I assume it is NTG 5.5 also.
So I see this as two possible issues.
1. Apple play allows Full screen while Car play is limited. (If using the CLS450 as the example). This is usually indicative of the OS for Car Play and i do not think there is a way to seperately update without gaining root access to the image.
2. both Apple play & Car play do not allow full screen (will test in my car for verification).
my guess is that option 1 is the true statement.

I would have to look up what version MBUX I have which I'd have to do after my shift is over . . .
Apple car play uses the full screen
Android Car play is NOT full screen (has the little Android Car play in the dynamic section).
This was done using a Galaxy Fold 5.
My "guess" was spot on in that the Android car play application within the NTG is not capable of full screen without reconfiguring which would require coding or root access to the OS directly..
