Yes you can turn it off in the menus somewhere.

Yes, it helps hold you in place when heavy braking but mostly when cornering.

Well - seems like massage is indeed removed in FE. My dealer has contacted MFG to verify, even though the spec sheet clearly says "Drive-Dynamic Multicontour Front Seats" in which every other car means massage too.
As funny as it seems, that's a deal breaker for me. I don't care about 1/999 worldwide if no massage.
LOL

That would be absurd if a car that costs that much didn't have massage seats. As petty as it sounds, I probably wouldn't want it either

Again, there were chip shortages for the massage feature. The seat bolsters still adjust and are on the touch panel, but no massage. Amazing as it sounds, my upcoming AMG EQE SUV has Performance seats with lumbar adjust, heating and ventilation, but no massage. The bolsters are dynamic and adjusted via the control panel. I don't think I EVER used the massage function on my E63S in all of the years that I've owned it.

The Drive Dynamic seats still move around as you drive. Like I said, it was a bit weird at first but intuitive like the bolsters. I figured this would be similar to massage, but it would be constantly moving. Definitely an EV option to prevent motion sickness.

My prefacelift has no heated steering wheel - in the winter I have to warm them up on the center console lol. I guess we can’t have it all.

Yup my FE has kinetic seats that move the whole seat every so often and you can increase how often it happens. The funny thing is I paid for the package with the massage option so I am hoping to get that refunded. I am quite happy keeping the FE! Because now it is that much closer to being able to switch to sport seats (retrofit)

I’m in my 2016 getting a massage as I type this waiting for my wife.
lol
Thats one annoying thing I haven’t figured out in the 2023 yet - how to keep reactivating the massage quickly without having to take my eyes off the road or say “hey Mercedes”.

I almost always have it on.

Are you sure that your 2023 E63S has the massage function enabled? Most Multicontour seats in 2023 did not have the function enabled due to chip shortages.

Yes 100%

So it was interesting for me to hear the warning that the FE here does not have it, and then yesterday the dealer confirmed they cannot find it in the menus. Since my 2023 has Multicontour and massage works, I had just assumed the FE Multicontour would also. Nope. Dealer is still waiting on official word from the manufacturer but whatever the reason, doesn't really matter to me at this point.

I feel for my salesman at the dealer I like. Mercedes has wrecked every sale he's tried to make to me for the past two years.

The build code on the PO would be 432 for seats with massage. I don’t see that on the US FE car for which I have a copy of the PO. Anyway, having the lumbar support dynamically move up and down seems marginal to me.

Wow, I'm happy to hear about that. I'm surprised as well, but happy to hear. Why should one pay for a feature that wasn't delivered, no matter the reason?

Awesome to hear. Took everyone by surprise. Even the dealers selling had no idea massage was missing!

It was around $4k in options I am okay with it but the parts hunt and cross referencing will now begin to see if the sport seats will be somewhat a plug and play
