I feel custom license plates should have a theme. Mine is a variation on my nickname tied to the historic 63 number. You can probably guess it from my handle. But mostly I went for a vanity plate because here in California we can get a black plate with yellow font, which matches the color of my car and interior. I have the performance seats with yellow stitching/accents.

63 as in 6.3 liter goes back to the biggest V8 engine at the time Mercedes made and they put it in the famous 300 SEL 6.3, which became the basis for Die Rote Sau (The Red Pig), which put AMG on the map. Although AMG modified the engine to 6.8 liter, but 6.3 liter became the V8 of choice moving forward until they went down to the current 4 liter V8TT. Until now, 63 basically signified the top level V8 AMG model, unfortunately with the E Performance strategy moving forward it's being eroded, but still somewhat stands for the top performance model.

I’ve been going through the same thought process.
Thinking TRUKSTR after the National lampoon’s vacation wagon. If that’s taken might settle for TRKSTR Or TRCSTR but concerned people will think I mean “track star” which I decidedly am not… Or “trickster” which is a valid word but not the idea I am going for….
Will appreciate any other suggestions the group has as backup options.
