There are 3 low-mileage (50 - 2,000) Final Edition wagons near me priced between $160K and $175K.
Is there a prevailing opinion among members here regarding whether there will be significant depreciation in the next 2 years, or if the Final Editions will hold their value fairly well?
Thanks,
Ken

There is no correct answer to your inquiry in my opinion. The FE wagons are significantly overpriced from the start with the unique items being badging, decals, and wheel color design. Depending on the region, everything else could be optioned in a non-FE wagon for about $35,000 less. You're probably looking at 35% depreciation or more for 2 years. My guess is that the FE wagons will be worth around $110K if low mileage, perhaps as low as the upper $90's for 30,000 miles on the clock.Originally Posted by kdogitis

Just my opinion but those are easily sub $130k cars in a year or so. But right now everything is still sky high. Id'd keep an eye out for a better spec'd 2019-21. Lately, I'm preferring the pre-facelift version but good specs are hard to come by. And usually like 3-4 owners and maybe an accident. Hot potatoes. lol

Not too many cars are great investments, at least in terms of future equity. Now in terms of fun, this car is a worthwhile investment!Originally Posted by kdogitis

depreciation is only one side of the coin, add to that the overall inflation and the interest being burned and from an "investment" standpoint it is dumb (if on a loan).
now if you want to drive a car and understand that you will lose money on the sale (no way you will be whole as we go back to the appreciation alone should cover at the very least inflation and in a car, it does not), then it is irrelevant for today's prices.

Looking for a 2019-20 silver/black or selenite/black (no matte paint), preferably with ceramics. Lol there's probably like 2-3 of these ever built.

2019 seems to be failures waiting to emerge with CELs and RMS issues. 2020 might be better, but it's hard to say. Also, the ride quality of the pre-FL leaves a lot to be desired. Just my 3 cents here.Originally Posted by ocdbroker

I wouldn’t think about selling these w213’s. They are quite the gem as far as body lines go. It will hold the deaign well down the road once people realize it. I could just be biased 😁
