RENNtech exhaust valve module on 2023 E63S
Hi
Trying to find a vid on RENNtech evm for 23 E63S. Only found a few at idle. Does anyone have one with revs - or is the difference only at idle?

I am getting my CETE EVM next week, I can make some videos when I get it installed. It isn't the renntech but that doesn't impact the end result. The difference would be idle and revs, it opens valves 100% at all RPMS where at stock it only opens after 4K.

Can you share where you got yours? I’ve been chasing this and didn’t want to pay for Renntech or pay to have it shipped from Europe since they had snapped up the original product from a smaller company and licensed it to be exclusive in the US.

In comfort mode flaps open it is louder from idle on up. When car does it’s 4cyl thing it’s weird and drone-y and it also blaps when switching between 8cyl to 4cyl and back.

In Sport mode it is louder idle to 4000 RPM. 4000 RPM and higher it’s the same as stock since that’s when the flaps open stock.

I enjoy the extra little muscle car sound with flaps open at idle and pulling away. To me it is worth it.

It's very straightfoirward if you a have a lift and can unplug and plug harness wires, route and zip-tie things. I just didn't feel like getting dirt in my eye, swearing, and throwing the throwing hammer.

@zukmeister - I just installed the Renntech EVM on my 2015 C63s and it's made a big difference with the low rpm - start up, acceleration, downshift noise. Well worth the cost IMO. Install was super easy - took about ten minutes and can be done via the trunk. No need to crawl under the car or anything like that (unless you're installing it on an E63).

Not the ones that come when you let off WOT. Since the flaps are open even stock when you are WOT and letting off that sounds the same.
This mod only affects under 4000 rpm noises
