E63s Ownership While Tuned
Hello all,
I have recently got my hands on a 2018 E63s wagon and love it inside and out so far. After a couple months of ownership stock, I decided to get a custom tune and cat-less downpipe, which have transformed the car into a screaming V8 monster that puts amazing power down. I love the car so much that I plan to continue to daily it as I have been (about 62,000 miles), then probably get another one (same year or perhaps newer depending on replies to this). My question is, would me putting the tuned cpc module and downpipe into the new one be worth it (or even possible for that matter) or just have to do the same thing over again. If possible, would the newer facelift models have any problems with the cpc module or downpipe or would it not matter? I might be thinking too far ahead but figured why not have time to gather some thoughts.
Thank you all in advance and take care,
NK

These are the DP I have and they are awesome so far. There are lots of good tuners out there but just need to find one that you feel comfortable with and most importantly have the ongoing support you need.
Tuning is not all about finding a tuner that can give you the most HP gains but to find one that is reliable and reputable. You can search this forum as there are lots of threads on it.

Not gonna lie, it's not the best if you are sensitive. My wife HATES my car now. Personally, I'm good with it but you have to understand that if you have the windows down you're gonna catch a whiff every time you stop at a light or anywhere for that matter.

I ran huge cam can barely idle at 1,200 RPM cars with no cats and under car dumps for many years in another life. Fairly certain I'm poisoned and can't handle any more . De-catting the W212 gave me PTSD every time I smelled it, even just parking in the garage my clothes would smell for the rest of the day and make me sick. Wish I didn't care but something happened and I'm broken. LOL.
