Considering used E63 S, what should I look out for?

How prevalent the issue is hard to determine since there is no reliable data to go by.
It seems the RMS failure may be caused by the oil separators becoming more restrictive over time leading to positive crankcase pressure and compromising the RMS.

Otherwise, it's an amazingly awesome and capable car.

they had a 2023 E63 with 10 k miles , not final edition, and the price listed was 148 k . MSRP on that car was 135 k
apparently dealers are asking premium because of V8
I don't know if this is true across the board
these cars are great but not worth that kind of money for a used example
I will consider looking at F90 M5 , 2023 around 105 k, much better value
if there is a hype over the V8 at this time , you might risk significant depreciation if the hype dies .
BTW just picked up a 2024 RS3 as a second DD , and I love the little thing . Feels light, nimble , and handles fairly well. C43 was better than expected but did not feel special, though the interior was nice quality
