didn't drive the car for a week as I went for a lengthy motorcycle trip and as I came home leaving for some errands, the check engine light came on. What I found its a P1525 EVAP System High Pressure Line Check Valve Stuck Open Bank 1. Taking her to the shop tomorrow, just curious to find out what that really means as I'm somewhat technically challenged . . .

when I got the alert I was on my way to a gas station to fill up so I made sure it was tight. It may be leaking, that I don't know or how to find out . . .

Was an issue with c63's... was either a bad gas cap or purge valve or need for software update. By any chance to you have an "AMG" gas cap? Something you bought aftermarket

No aftermarket gas cap, just the stock unit which now is 5 years old . . . never crossed my mind that a gas cap would go bad but I suppose its like everything else, with age things let go . . .
just heard from shop and apparently both purge valves are leaking under load so they need replacement. But of course they're not in stock so I'll be carless for a few days . . . but at least now I know what the deal is . . .
