2023 E63S AMG - Grey Magno
OEM Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser Insert

Hello gents

I ordered an OEM carbon fiber trim piece for my face lift 2023 E63S using a VIN number from a final edition vehicle. My car has this trim in black and it appears to be in one piece. The replacement CF piece is in 3 pieces (left, right and center). It would appear that they are just clipped in and a pry tool could get it out. I'm hoping it doesn't have to be undone from behind. Has anyone replaced one of these before?

If anyone is interested in doing the same - part numbers below
213-885-15-07 - left
213-885-16-07 - right
213-885-05-07 - center

From the part illustrations it appears to be pressure clips and can just be pried out. I’m not 100% sure though…

I just installed a brand new OEM AMG diffuser recently on my 2018. Even though it is prefacelift this particular piece installs in a similar fashion on your facelift. You'll need to remove the bumper.

I really hope you’re wrong. I would hate to have to remove the bumper. Were you able to find any good videos or write ups on how the bumper comes out?

If you are somewhat handy, it's really not too bad. Ive removed the rear bumper on my 18 E43 and 21 E53 AMG sedans (identical bumpers to E63); the facelift is a hair easier due to the tail light design over the prefacelift. Here is the factory removal PDF.

I'm happy to report that it was an easy straight forward replacement and it was all done from the outside without the need to remove the bumper. Just some pry tools and patience! The original piece was one long single piece, and the CF replacement is 3 pieces and they just snapped in perfectly
