Would you even slightly consider this car?

Here at Drive a Dream, the majority of our vehicles come as Manufacturer Buy Backs for previous service work. The repairs are completed at the Manufacturing facility. The Manufacturer provides additional warranty to cover any previous issues. I will attach the Carfax report and the report of repairs.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I got a great deal and, would not have ever made it into a '63 if I didn't look past the minor and took advantage of the savings.
However!
When it was time to sell, it took forever. Most buyers will walk on an imperfect car at the price point these are at. $10-15k is not a deal breaker for most '63 buyers who know what they want. Buying something tainted and not caring because it's now perfect is the easy part. Getting rid of it later is another story.
Also for me it was purely cosmetic bumper paint so very little risk. In your case it could be an unfixed gremlin that never goes away! PLUS the hassle of selling it to the next guy.
I'd have to save a significant amount, and, have it be a forever-keeper-car to proceed.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

The only way to buy these is, as mentioned already, to have a good relationship with your local Mercedes service rep so you can get a copy of the VMI.
And like all cars of this price class, get a PPI and only at a dealer. 3rd party will never have access to the background to check the resolution of the original problem.
And after the PPI is done, travel to the dealer and ask for an in-person review of the report findings.
You can graph price vs. mileage from all the BaT auctions... separate lines for each model year. Then take off 20% if the PPI comes back clean. Never share PPI findings with the selling dealer, and instruct the MB dealer doing the PPI that their findings/opinions are not to be shared with anyone except you.
All of this should be standard for any expensive purchase, but especially for a car like this.
If the lower price is how you can access an E63s, go for it. Since this is a higher-mileage car, plan to drive it 'til it drops since selling it will be a pain... although years of driving might wipe the slate clean (assuming you can ever find out why it was lemon'ed).

.
I can not figure out how a 45k+mi car is "Lemon Law'ed". Something is VERY off. I bet the owner blew something up and dealership could not get the parts to fix it in "X" time frame.

Id try other sources from the NMVTIS approved sites.
