I just wanted to let everyone know that I was able to get a Fidelity Platinum warranty on my 2018 E63 though Mike Jordan at Mossy Motors in New Orleans. I chose the 6 year 72k mile warranty with $100 deductible for $6974, and this price included a 55% discount off the list price of the warranty. It was a quick and easy process and all that Mike asked is that I have the car inspected by a Mercedes Dealership. At this price I feel like the warranty will pay for itself the fist time I have to take it in.

I am pretty sure that is was Trenton said. Maybe Mr. Jordan found a loop hole. Within the next year I am planning on picking up a 2020 S63 and I wonder about an extended warranty as well.

One thing to keep in mind is that ELW's have a provision where there's a 30 day waiting period after purchasing the warranty before coverage begins. That's normally waived if you buy the ELW when you first buy the car.

Hello, Is there a reason you went with Fidelity instead of the MB ELW? I am about to pickup my CLE 53 AMG tomorrow and looking at the MB ELW. I have not looked over the Fidelity - did you find it better?

If the factory warranty has expired then MB will not sell you any factory extended warranties.The Fidelity Platinum is the closest thing to a factory warranty and they have a long tract record of trouble free claims.

I second the recommendation for Michael Jourdan at Mossy Motors. Gave me a 45% off (likely his entire commission) for my 2022 EQS AMG Fidelity Platinum, and saved me a ton of money. His email is mjourdan@mossymotors.com.

I had quotes from a few others that were recommended on this forum in the past. Let's just say that they quoted me the full sticker price for their policies (ELW and Fidelity Platinum). Michael Jourdan was legit 1/2 off the Fidelity quoted price elsewhere.

Some coverage is more sensitive to age vs. mileage already on the vehicle, lengths of coverage/deductibles, all of that. Your low mileage vs. age of the vehicle definitely contributed to the cost of coverage most likely.

Also purchased Fidelity (Platinum) for my 2018 E63 through Mike. Super easy and had no problem getting several items covered under the warranty, including a leaking air suspension valve and most of RMS replacement. Fidelity, however, did not cover the oil separators as part of the RMS fix.

I've had the Fidelity Platinum extended warranty on my 2021 S580 and it's been a game changer, just got a new a/c compressor covered after only 2 years of ownership, the claims process has been pretty smooth so far, not even a hiccup.

Fidelity, like all warranty coverage will only pay per repair as they fail, I have seen codes thrown for the OVS while in for RMS and they're covered at the same time, but it can't be a "while we are in there" for RMS.

It’s just a bit silly now that it failed again & in a very short period of time + possibly b/c OVS weren’t approved. I get insurance looks for the cheapest solution, but now it’s cost more. Oh well

Yeah it all has to be shown current failure upon approval for underwriting, like I said, it does happen, but isn't the case always.
