Hello,
The Installation for this unit is very simple. Simply unscrew the old paddle shifter and screw on the BRABUS paddle shifters. Also requires removal of factory Airbag and steering wheel.
Before you begin any process, make sure you disconnect the battery as well.

That would be after you take the steering wheel off and airbag out, yes?

Hello,
Yes you're absolutely correct. You will have to remove the steering wheel and Airbag to disconnect the factory paddle plugs. Sorry forgot to mentioned this in the 1st post.
Also another huge important thing before the installation is to disconnect the battery. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!

We're sorry but unfortunately this unit will on fit the S63/65, doesn't work for the S550.
