is there any way to tell the difference. I have a set of Monoblock VI's 19" multi piece that are from brabus, but there is this other kid that says he bought them from ebay, 18" and thinks thier real. Any way to tell them apart? Haven't seen the ebay ones yet.

thanks

Real Brabus rims will have the Brabus name stamped into the rim itself. If you find the valve stem location on the rim, and look directly opposite to the other side of the rim, you will see BRABUS on the rim. Fakes will not have this. That's the easiest way to spot them.

Replica weights for the Brabus style are definitely lighter than genuine Brabus rims. As for quality, depends on who you ask. Some say replicas are fine, others say replicas aren't worth a penny. Unless you're doing some serious racing, then structurally, I think replica's should be fine. As for quality of the finish, I'm sure Brabus is better. It's just a question of what your needs are in a rim.

I checked the site link and Mercedes center caps were used. I can deductively conclude that the Brabus replica should be able to house a Brabus cap since I saw a UK C32 with Brabus rims and a Mercedes cap. (Hope that made sense )

The replica is actually one piece wheel and it's pretty easy to distingush them from the real ones.

goog point allen. i forgot to mention that. anyone that knows wheels will be able to tell that the fakes are one piece even though they try to look like two piece.
