H&R DRA SPACERS

Hello,

Are H&R DRA 25mm spacers safe?

I had before 20 mm with any vibration, but the 25mm are diferent; spacers are bolt to the hub and rim is bold to the spacers.

Do they tend to make more vibration than DR ones or less?

Best Regards.

DRA Series
40 - 60 mm track widening
This spacer is fitted to the hub with special wheel bolts and has new threaded holes for exisiting wheel bolts.

DR Series
10 - 40 mm track widening
This spacer is fitted between the wheel and hub, using longer wheel bolts (ordered separately). Please check type of bolt head (taper or round and diameter) and shaft length before ordering.

Puting this spacers front and rear to the new rims will give a total offset of ET30. I only want them to use rims with a ET5 offset.

So I'm NOT changing a lot the total wide; from 37 to 30.

Best Regards.

I want to put Brabus Monoblock S rims to my car; 18*7.5 Front 18*8.5 rear.

For the rear no problem since they are ET30 and will have a 255/35 tire.

For the front they come with a 16mm spacers giving a total offset of ET38 (with the 16mm spacer).

Then I will put a 20mm brabus front spacer giving a total offset of ET34 trying to clear the C32 calipers but I'm not sure if it will be enough.

That why I was asking for the DRA system because if with offset 34 I don't clear the C32 calipers I have to options; or return the wheels or take take out the brabus spacers and fit in the front a 25mm DRA spacer giving a total offset of ET 29.

As far as I know Brabus spacer don't give problems, but not sure on DRA systems.

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards,

Ruben.

30mm offset wheel with a 16mm spacer makes the application a 14mm offset and that would stick out past the fenders by a good margin ...

using a 20mm offset would make the application a 10mm offset

I will try to explain me better. Sorry for that but my english is no very good.

Brabus Monoblock S 7.5*18
Original Rim Offset: ET 54
Rim offset with 16mm brabus spacer: ET38
Rim offset with 20mm brabus spacer: ET34
Rim offset with H&R DRA 25mm spacer: ET29

I have front C32 Brake Setup.

I hope now it will be more understandable.

Best Regards,

Ruben.

So the question is about the DRA system:

Do I have to stay away because the give problems; or they give the same problems than the DR system, or they give less problems than the DR system.

Best Regards.

I would stay away from spacers and get wheels that properly fit your car and 54mm offset wheels DO NOT fit correctly

Thanks.

I also don't like spacers but nearly all new Brabus Rims comes with spacers....

So as I understand the DRA ones are as bad as the DR.

Best Regards.

I'm not saying they are bad but, there are way too many wheels availble for your car that fit correctly .... why go through the trouble

Because I like the Brabus Design. But I would have done better chossing a rim that don't need spacers.

The fact is tha next week I receive the rims, then If I can I keep the Brabus 20 mm spacers, but if they don't fit?... Should I buy the DRA, or forgive it and return the rims?

Best Regards.
