Axis Milano / Monet Gothic / Carlsson 2/5 19 inch Rims / Wheels Price Check.....
I got a wholesale quote from a "friend" who owns a shop for a set of Axis Milano "Style" rims 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for $1,000 U.S. These apparently are the same as Monet Gothic rims which are both made by the same manufacturer.
The seller states...
...."4 BRAND NEW CARLSSON STYLE STAGGERED Rims.
...."These wheels are manufactured by AXIS's OEM manufacture. Same as AXIS Milano."
Unfortunately the TireRack does not carry these.
What do you guys/gals think of the price for the knock of of the knock off? Meaning, They are a knock off of the Axis Milano which is a knock off of the Carlsson 2/5 rims.?

They look nice.My concern would be how well and long they hold up.If you hit a pothole and they bend due inferior materials what have you really saved.You don't list where you are from but the roads here in Jersey have a insatiable appetite for rims.

If these wheels are made by Axis they should be safe. My wheels shop swears by Axis. Personally, I have never heard of one having a problem. I can't say that about several other brands costing thousands more. They look pretty good...get them if you like them.

I'm in Toronto, Ontario Canada. The post holes can be bad here too.

I think that the fronts are 2 inches and the rears are 2.5.
The lip is polished and the face is painted silver. The pic is deceiving as it looks like the face is polished or machined, but it isn't.
