What's up people... So I'm picking up a set of Moven wheels in the 19x8.5" and 19x9.5" selection with 245/35r19s and 275/30r19s for my W210 E55. My question is; am I going to run into a problem when I go to lower the car with H&R sport springs that (as I'm sure you're all aware) bring the car down 1.4" in the front and 1.3" in the rear? Basically what I'm looking for is someone who's seen this done, or just knows for a fact that it won't be a prob... Any help would be great! Thanks all!

If all E55's are the same you may have a problem up front. I suspect the steering knucle is difference for E55 AMG versus non AMG and is larger and more protuding or the brake rotor mounting pad is different (my guess's).
An 8.5 inch rim may require an offset of et28. Many wheel shops even Tire Rack say a 8.5 et35 will fit but I had trouble mounting a 18x8.0 et35 using a 245/40/18 tire. The OEM front wheel is 18x8.0 et31 and my aftermarket 18x8.0 et35 pushes the wheel inward only 4mm and tire rubbed inside using a Nitto 555 tire (which has a broad shoulder). I had to run the OEM Dunlop SP Sport 9000 in 245/40/18 which has a narrow shoulder however there was no more room inside to go inward further than 4mm. A 8.5 et35 rim would push the rim inward by 10mm and you may have to use a 235/35/19 tire. E55JAY had to return his custom order rims. The tire rubbed here:

Ok, thanks for the help guys. Only question I have... I know what the spring pad is, however, everyone keeps referring to the "#1 spring pad" and I don't know what that is. Is it a Mercedes part? Does it come with the H&Rs? Is it the stock pad?

The W210 spring pads comes in 5 pad sizes for front and 4 size pads for rear. I have number 3 all around which have 3 visable little rubber bumps on them.Originally Posted by DannyG

Thank you so much for your response! However, I'm still not quite clear about what you mean... Are you saying the stock pads can be resized?Originally Posted by E55 KEV

You can adjust the ride height by changing the pads. I have number 3 pads all around. I can use a number 1 pad and the car would sit slightly lower. It I used a number 4 pad the car would sit higher.Originally Posted by DannyG

Some cars have differenct sizes front and back - like 3 up front and 2 in back for example.
