Can a hub centric Audi wheel be made to fit a Mercedes?

Ok so I'm getting rid of the A4 and back into a Mercedes. I currently have DPE wheels on my audi and absolutely love them. The problem is-the person who I bought these wheels from said they were made hubcentric for Audis and would not fit a mercedes.

the question: Can this be "reversed"? Does anyone know where I can look up the hub dimensions for an audi vs. a mercedes? Can they bore it out or anything? Please help-I really want to keep these wheels!

I had asked a similar question before. Here is the link to the response I got.

hmm thanks for the link but doesn't answer the question. My Audi is a FWD so that's why I didn't mind getting the staggered set up. The Mercedes I'm putting them on is too old to have traction control and theyre the same profile tires anyways

I guess I'll call DPE tommroow and see if they can be bored out or anything

That's a good news, however, you need to know if the offset is correct to mount on your specific MB. Just an input. Hope everything will work out well

i brought this back from the dead since i'm interested in doing the same thing.

Would this be the correct sizes?

Hubcentric Rings-66.56mm-57.1mm-Set of Four

THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SET OF 4 HUBCENTRIC RINGS

PART # R66-HCR803M

One set of 4 hub centric rings with 66.56mm Outer Diameter and 57.1mm Inner Diameter. These are high quality aluminum rings. It is the buyer's responsibility to determine that these are the correct hubcentric rings for your application. There is no return on these items if you choose the wrong size.

I thought the inner should be 66.56 and the outer should be 57.1.

I'm assuming the outer means the part that attaches to the wheel and the inner that attaches to the hub?

Or do i have it backwards?

those rings are to make a Mercedes wheel fit an Audi .... not the other way around .... in what universe could the inner be 66.56 and the outer be 57.01

it can be done but, it's still not a good idea as many wheels are designed with the center bore size and stresses taken into consideration. You may be causing damage to the structural integrity of the wheel
