i found the RIGHT set i want, but problem is, their not 3-piece. is that REALLY a problem?

If you have your car lowered like the one in the pic, I'd say yes go for it.

Yes unless you're a racer the whole weight/3peice thing is just a bunch of enthusiast hype.

You would be surprised the difference in weight between a cast 1pc and forged 3pc. Just go to your local wheel shop and pick each one up. Ive purchased my share of after market wheels and its not that I'm an enthusiast but that I've experienced the differences.

After all, there is a brand that makes a forged 3pc just like this... why buy the cheaper version.

No way, the design is nice but its just a cheap imitation of a 3pc wheel. If you can shell out the money for the 3pc version, you will really appreciate it in the long run. Ive read a lot horror stores about 1pc cast wheels. Everyone I know will only buy forged wheels because of the very poor reputation 1pc wheels have.

This is why I'm against them from seeing stuff like this.

Poor roads and cast 1pc wheels don't get along well. I've seen worse than this. Like I said, if you got the cash, you'll appreciate spending it on the right wheels in the long run.

You do what you got to do. Both those pictures of the broken 1pc wheels did damage to the cars not just the wheels. Its all over different forums. Don't think your wheel breaks like that and you don't do other damage to your vehicle. Plus forged wheels don't crack completely like cast wheels do. If anything, they'll bend slightly if you hit a hole hard enough... which costs around $50 to fix. Talk to your local wheel shop, I'm not just BS'n for no reason.
