RE750 vs. F1 GS-D3
Is Bridgeston RE750 a good alternative to Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 for longer treadwear with minor trade off in handling? I presume dry is slightly worse but perhaps better in wet. Looking for experience feedback.

I had the GS-D3 and the tread life was horrible compared to the Michelin pilots. I'm getting Goodyear f1 all season, which seems to be the best compromise it was treadwear of 420 and good wet and dry traction. FYI the reason I'm getting new tires is because one of my GS-D3 is defective.

depends on the weather
the Eagle is a much better performer than the RE750 ... treadwear between the two is very similar ... as was previously stated you may want to look into an All-season tire which will offer better life but, less performance

Luke,
Is there an alternative to Eagle F1 GS-D3 in the similar handling/ride/price category with a slightly better tread wear?
PS2 is excellent from previous experience but too costly and wear out quickly.

Luke,
Is the new Eagle F1 All Season a good choice with a higher treadwear at 420 and a bit cheaper? The RE960 seems to emphasis more in light snow a bit costlier (~$20ea).

I am on my second set of GS D3's. The first lasted over 33,000 miles on my E55. Since I live in Seattle, I must have a great rain tire. The Michelin's only lasted 17,000.

Just installed the F1 A/S over the weekend and couldn't be happier. It's wonderful in dry and wet (perhaps a bit off from GS-D3 if you are not pushing hard). Let's see how long they last with treadwear 420.
