I'm planning to purchase new rims for my 2002 C230K:

19 x 8.5 - 235/35/19 - Front
19 x 9.5 - 265/30/19 - Back

Does this seem like a good choice? What's the best offset I should use. The car is lowered with Eibach pro-kit springs.

31-37ish should be best.

I was also thinking of going with a 19x8 in front instead of a 19x8.5.. because I was afraid that the 235/35 tire might be stretched too much on a 8.5 width rim. Is 8.5 ok or is 8 better?

one of my friend has rubbing issue when putting 265/30(not sure)/18 in the rear on h is coupe. his car is lowered with H&R spring. he rolled his fender to solve the rubbing problem. Since Eibach lowered less.....i can't be sure.....but most likely you will have rubbing with 265/30/19. but the shape of the tire matters too......T1-S is better than AVS sport in this case. I personally thinking about the same setup like u. My car is not lowered, but will do. worryting too! please update this once you have them on you car. Thank You

I'm gonna run Dunlop SP9000s. I get no one has any experience with this setup or knows the true offset I should be using.

Check with Brabus. They list a couple wheels for the C230K at 19x8.5 w/ 235/235 in front and 19x9.5 w/ 265/30 in rear. Give them a call and ask what offset they use.

Brabus has an offset of 30 for the front and 35 for the back with the same size rims and tires I mentioned in my first post.

But Brabus (so as other tuners) usually have some fine prints on their catalogue saying "body modifications need"! Rolling a fender to them is not a big deal, those are "show" cars on their sites. They will do anything to make it fit.

Terry: I'm too ashamed to e-mail you. I didnt forget about you. Its just I am still waiting for my parts, believe it or not!! I am extremely sorry!!!

I'll keep you updated.

That's true. Brabus does say that fender rolling is required with both fitments.

Can 17x10 fit in the back? Actually, when staggering wheels, how big is the difference usually? How's 17x8 and 17x10?

I rarely see a wheel with size 17x10. The C32 coupe uses 18x10 wheels on the rear, but I bet they must have rolled the fender heavily. However, they only put 255 tires.

17x10....ummm...I think it will fit if you put 255 tires & have the right offset, anything bigger than 255 will be very tight.

Alright, thanks, I'll forego on the 17x10 choice then!
