Genuine Brabus Monoblock V
Hi guys, I recently bought a set of Brabus Monoblock V multipiece. Front: 19x 8.5 and rear 19x 9.5. The seller told me the offset is 35mm all around. However, I once wrapped 225/35/19 for the front and 255/30/19 for the rear and the wheels rubbed on the inside. All my other friends told me it is supposed to fit into my CLK 430 perfectly without any problem.
I am afraid that the wheels is not authentic from Brabus. Can anybody help me to determine whether the wheels are authentic or not.
Thank you very much for your help,
Solihin

When you look at your rim, somewhere near the lip, between the spokes will have "brabus" on it.
I have not seen any fake brabus wheels with that on.
So if you see it on your wheel, it should be real, if not, you got ripped.

Even if they are authentic Brabus wheels, they may not necessarily fit your CLK perfectly as it may have been made for an E, S, CL or other benz with a different offset.
But yes, check for the Brabus stamp between the spokes. And check to see if they are 'real' multipiece... Replicas have the bolts on the outside, but they are fake.

Always a good idea to check behind the wheel, I believe Ronal made the brabus monoblock 5, I am not certain but I think. SO check the back of the wheel for the ronal stamp. BTW isnt
225/35 and 255/30 too thin for your setup?

not only do the Brabus wheels have the Brabus logo stamped on the front of the wheel behind the wheel (on the inside) the wheel specs: size and offset are printed. you should double check that the offset is 35mm. The rubbing could be the type of tires you have some tires are thicker than others and will rub even with the correct wheel size and offset. Lastly, try to determine where the rubbing is actually coming from. you could have worn shox. I hope this helps . good luck.

thank you guys
thanks guys for the helps. The Brabus logo are printed on the inside and outside. There is also "Made by Ronal", "Monoblock V", the size and offset, and also some numbers and circles printed on the inside of the wheels.
The size and offset for the:
front: 8.5 J x 19 H2 ET 35
rear : 9.5 J x 19 H2 ET 35
Tezta: sorry I didnt't type the size of the tires correctly. It was 235/35/19 and 255/35/19 from Pirelli PZero Tires. Discount Tires told me that PZero doesn't have 265 tires. So, I went with that size.
Adonis: I was told by the guy at Discount Tires that PZero is the lowest profile tires and that's why it is called P"Zero" for zero clearance, but I don't know if that's true or not. I don't think that it was because of the worn shocks because I just had this car last year (2002 CLK 430 Coupe).
I will take the pictures for the wheels and posted them later.
Also, the last time I tried to test fit the wheels (235/35/19 and 255/30/19) on my car, I put 10mm spacers and I couldn't even stick my fingers between the tires and the struts. My friend who owns a modification shop told me that this offset for E class, not for CLK.
So, let me know what you guys think.
Thank you

You should post this in the CLK forum . I have 18's but Check with lowryder he just took off 19" monoblock v's he should be able to give you the right offset although it should be between 30-35. If you need a spacer at all it would probably be 5mm

Well if you're still not sure if they are true Brabus go look at the rim and make sure they are REALLY multipiece. All immitations of multipiece wheels will only be one piece I believe. So look at the gap where the rivets are and see if there's a gap there separating the pieces.
