wanting to put 19's
but
haven't seen any 19's on tirerack for the car, so there must be mods needed to make it fit?
was thinking 19X8.5 F 19X9.5 R
235/35/19 tires F 255/30/19 R or 265/30/29 R
is this setup going to create any problems with speedo, or shift points?
it should be pretty close size wize to stock overall diameter of
225/45/17 F 245/40/17 R
Will I need spacers to fit 19's on the W202 body, any fender work? rubbing? Planning on putting H&R/Koni yellow after I put the wheels on so it'll lower about 1.25 or so F and R
Feel free to throw in your advise
This been driving me insane for awhile now lol

your hero is here. First of all, how low is your car dropped? Right now I'm running H&R springs and bilstein shocks on my w202 with #1 pads all the way around. If you're going to run 19x8.5" in front and 19x9.5 in rear, you're going to have problems if your car is dropped. I've had 19.8 in front before and 19x9 in the rear running 235/35/19 in F and 265/30/19 in R with hardly any problems. My wheel wells have major work on them though so if this is your first time putting 19's on, then you're probably going to have problems. Right now I have 19x8.5" in F and 19x9.5" in rear and I've had MAJOR problems. The frnts rub like crazy, fender and wheel well, but after numerous times of rolling fenders and stripping wheel wells, they finally don't rub (except on turns). I'm talking about rubbing just going straight and over dips on the freeway. With 19x9.5" I was having MAJOR problems with 265/30/19 and since it was so wide, I was rubbing my gas canister and also my fender. After many hours of work by TWS, we've concluded that nothing would work, (ie spacers, more fender rolling) and the only thing to do was to use 245/30/19 in rear. So right now with my 19x8.5" I'm running 235/35/19 with hardly any problems and with the rear I'm running 245/30/19 with no problems but the 245 looks pretty stretched out and funky.

Thanks for the reply
My car is stock height at the moment, I was waiting to find the right wheels first and put them on then lower with H&R and Koni (yellow), and see if I can play around with the pads to create enough space to fit the 19's. As I was searching galleries I found this nice photo ( i hope the owner doesn't mind ) with the #1 choice of wheels that I like the AMG CL, the ones in the picture look like they are 19's.

those are sweet wheels
you think if you lift your car half an inch your rubbing problems would dissapear?
or if they were 18's instead ? I think Brabus has some springs that lower 1 inch so slightly less than H&R.
If I go 18's let's say 18 X 8.5 F 18 X 9.5 R
what would offset need to be on these 18's to fit onto the car properly?
if anyone knows
thanks in advance
