New 19's ST4 from Tire rack and vibration

I just purchased about a month ago a set of ST4 sport from Tirerack with tires. I got an alignment about 2 days after the install, and noticed a few days after alignment a slight vibration in the steering wheel and sometimes in the gear shifter. The vibration is noticeable when I drive past 65mph. Again the vibration is slight but enough for me to feel it and see the steering vibrating. This happens regardless if the freeway is smooth black asphalt or not. I assume this isn't caused by alignment or unbalanced rims, but maybe I received the wrong size centering ring? What size should I've received and is there visible size marking on the rings? I received a set of red center rings already placed inside the center hub of each rims. Maybe I'm not installing the rims correctly? It's been a few weeks and it hasn't gone away. Any input is appreaciated. Thank you.

My car: 2005 C230 Kompressor Sport chassis.

Rebalance your rims/tires. Have them roadforce balanced.

Thanks amdeutsch. What is roadforce balance?

EDIT: Just did a google search and it led me to Tirerack Tech Information. I understand what it is now. Thank you I will request for that when I get them balanced.

Check with the tirerack. They know who will have the proper setup to do this in your location.

Luke, do you know where in my area I could get a Roadforce balancing. I'm in zip code 95133. I tried calling Wheelworks in my area and I was told it was the old way of balancing and they no longer do it.

A few different ones
Go to the following website and enter your zip code for the closet Hunter Road force balancer.
http://www.gsp9700.com/pub/search/findgsp9700.cfm

This is probably one of the best road balancing machines you will find.

I have purchased many sets of wheels from tire rack (at least 4 or 5 sets) and although I think they are a great company with excellent customer service and prices, they never get the balancing right.
I never had a set come correctly balanced ...

Luke and AF330i

Thank you. I'll head over to Exact Motor sometime this week!

EDIT: Just called Exact Motorsport and they only have the GSP9000 model so they cannot do road force balancing. I'll try that site that AF330i gave me to find more location.

Luke,

I was told by a Caldron Tires by my work it's $50 a tire. Does that sound right? I'll try another location.

EDIT: Found one for $20 a wheel. I will head there after work.

Luke,

They've rebalanced the tires. It seemed to have eliminated most of the shaking. I had to make 2 trips. The first trip it made the shaking obvious at 40 -50mph. On the 2nd trip they rebalanced it again and they also had to put the front driver tire to the passenger. They said that tire was the most unbalanced out of the 4. Having that tire on the passenger side helped.

So the charge is $80 and was done at California Wheels in San Jose, CA on Alum Rock Rd. The owner Tommy was very helpful.

What number can I fax the invoice to?

Thanks,
Jim

Luke,

It's been a few months since I faxed you the alignment repair on my rims but haven't received anything from you yet. Just wondering what the status is on it. If you need me to refax please let me know.

Thank you,
Jim

I have the St4 Bright Satin version and no shaking at all...

I just reordered one rim though due to a crack from a monster pothole
