E350 sport wheels on an E55?

Can someone tell me if the 10-split-spoke 18-inch wheels from the e350 and e550 (2007+, I think) will fit on an e55?

Sizes are 18x8.5 front and 18x9 rear compared to stock AMG wheels of 18x8 and 18x9. I can't find offset data.

They will fit. What you will find is upon installing these wheels is that the front track will be 16 mm narrower dues to these wheels having a 38 mm front offset and the amg one 30 mm. HTH

Thanks. In my mind I can't imagine a 16mm difference being noticable, particularly when the actual width of the tire is increasing. Can you think of any reason performance would be affected?

Actually one can notice the difference. In my case I went from sport to AMG wheels and increased the track width. The tire size didn't change for me; same 245/40-18 fronts.

P.S.

You already asked about those here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ml#post3413500

How did that difference manifest itself?

One way for you to find this out yourself is with tire pressure; high front and then low front - difference between those ~10psi. Notice the behavior of your vehicle to steering inputs and reaction. Similarly one can experience this with track width.
